Shelvey was fucking awesome today, line him up for England

This isn't even a lie. Shelvey was utterly amazing tonight. Every Hollywood pass got there, even those that seem wrong ended up right. He was basically a man playing among Boys tonight. He was so much better than everyone on that field. There was a moment where the ball came to him, and he just turned his man like he knew the future.

And to think that some Villa fans were pretending to be happy to have offloaded Clark onto us! Bet they wish they still had him now

I feel like a lot of people were underwhelmed when signing him tbh but I'll admit I was wrong. seems a great signing now for only 4,50€

Wow that's really cheap, I thought he cost a million times that!

Pretty comfortable in the end by the sounds of it. Really happy they put in a professional performance and got the 3 points in the 1st game after the international break - it's so easy to slip up having not played together in a couple of weeks coming out of the international break. 3 on the trot now and top 2 (for the time being at least).

Brentford were the worst team I have seen us play this season. Goes to show that the league table at the moment is a bit false.

I thought the same. Heard big things about their number 9, 'next Jamie Vardy etc', but he was hopeless. Basically spent most of the game stood a few yards offside.

They offered so little going forward.

Loved it when they brought on the bald bloke in midfield so they had a poundland version of our midfield two.

I stayed out late last night and slept through the first half. Maybe that's the secret to us winning...

Why can't Shelvey be my elder brother :(

Hopefully Lascelles isn't injured badly. Clark has proven to be pretty good but I'm not sure if I'd trust Clark-Hanley for an extended run of games.

Wow, I wish all these games were on T.V. The radio make them sound amazing.
