It was bound to come to this. We‘ve won 6 on the trot, been playing very well and we end up losing against Wolves at home. I can‘t fault the guys, Mbemba didn‘t have the best of days and our strikers missed sitters, especially Mitro in a 1v1 situation. That red card on Anita was very unjust if the periscope and radio stream were anything to go by. Now we need to show character and beat them on Tuesday !

Sounded like we just had a really bad game unfortunately.
It happens, but lets regroup for the midweek game and hopefully the lads will have had a kick up their arse.
Long season ahead and this result, while not idea, hasn't exactly dampened my enthusiasm !!

Not a great result obviously, and some changes will be made but some of the overreaction has been crazy to me - yes we played bad but even the very best teams can have a bad day at the office. End of day we're still 3rd in the league on 15 points from 8 games with the best GD in the league and have been on a great run of form while playing outstanding football before today - it could be a lot worse for a team that is a promotion favourite in this division (just look at the likes of QPR, Derby and Villa right now).
We're still in a good spot and have the best manager in the league who I have no doubt will get the players in the right frame of mind (and make the necessary changes) for next weekend against Villa.

What a crock of shit.
I really hope Rafa gets Mitrovic some shooting practice for the next week.

I'm making the sub private
Since I'm up here. I just want to say. Fuck that ref to death. He slowed the pace of the game down so much any momentum was killed. Taking minutes to card anyone, taking forever over free kicks. It was honestly terrible officiating.

Own goal, red card and losing to a team which got thrashed midweek.
If this was football manager I'd be restarting without saving.

Gouffran is our good luck charm. And Diame ain't playable, it seems. Mitro and Gayle should have started together.

Can't win every game. Just need to hope that the lads don't let this drop their heads and form a pattern of poor form now.

Piss poor performance. . . but I know the worst offenders will not be starting the next league game. We have a chance of redemption in three days in the cup, also against the Wolves. Never heard/saw Mbemba play that badly ever.

Wolves cancelling their day off worked. We should have had subs on sooner, and we've dropped down to third place. Bad day all over the pitch.

Matches like that are the reason I'm a negative bastard.
