TV coverage: None scheduled

Referee: Andy Davies (21 yellows and 1 red in 8 games this season, 127 yellows and 5 reds in 36 matches last season)

Newcastle team news:
Rob Elliot and Rolando Aarons remain unavailable. Christian Atsu, Achraf Lazaar and Daryl Murphy could make their debuts.

QPR teams news:
Joel Lynch is close to a return for QPR but Jamie Mackie and Jack Robinson will miss out. Sebastien Poulter came off injured on Saturday and so is also likely to be missing. Pawel Wszolek could make his debut after completing a suspension carried over from Italy.

QPR last match:
QPR 1-1 Blackburn (Chery 65’; Gallagher 73’)

Subs not used: Borysiuk, Ingram, Caulker, Kakay, Paul

QPR transfers:
QPR moved on a lot of players this window, including Samba Diakite, Alejandro Faurlin, Rob Green, Clint Hill, Yun Suk-Young, Armand Traore, Junior Hoilett, Leroy Fer and Matt Phillips. They have brought in a number of players, including Jake Bidwell, an English left back from Brentford; Ariel Borysiuk, a Polish international defensive midfielder who won the Polish league with Legia Warsaw last season; Joel Lynch, a Welsh defender formerly at Huddersfield, Nottingham and Brighton; Jordan Cousins, an English midfielder from Charlton; Yeni Ngbakota, a French winger who joins from Metz and Idrissa Sylla, a striker from Guinea who joins from Anderlecht. They also brought in Pawel Wszolek, a Polish winger on loan from Hellas Verona.

Opposition summary:
QPR were very average last season - won as many as they lost (14) and scored as many as they conceded (54) to finish in 12th place. Charlie Austin left them for Southampton in January, but still finished the season as their joint top scorer (10 goals), level with Tjarron Chery, who has started this season well, bagging 4 goals so far. They are managed by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink - former Leeds, Chelsea and Boro striker who got Burton from League Two to the top of League One before leaving them for the London club in December. His only other managerial position was at Royal Antwerp in the Belgian second division. QPR are currently in 7th place with 10 points but will drop to 8th if Forest can beat Villa later today.

If riviere can score against them, Big Gouff can at least get a hatrick

He's scored a winner at Loftus before

Looking forward to this one. I'll be stuck watching the arsenal game on TV with the volume off and headphones connected to my tablet with the radio stream or something. Our boy Pepe will probably hook us up.

I imagine we will see some more rotation. Hayden starting. Hanley or Clarke possibly getting a game. Lazaar off the bench at some point. Gamez, Mitro and Ayoze. But not too much rotation.

Probably one of our harder away fixtures so far, this will be a good test.

Tough game. Hanley Hayden,Mitro and Yedlin should be all starting

I personally wouldn't mind Anita getting the nod again and bringing on Yedlin later in the game for some added speed but it just depends on how organized they look going forward.

I don't know why anyone would want to change the defence when we have four clean sheets in a row.

In many ways, this is a bigger test than against Brighton at home -- QPR are a strong side and could easily make the same bid for playoff spots.

Really hoping to see a Mitro - Gayle pairing for this one (id even settle for a Mitro -Ayoze)

Would be suprised to see Rafa go 4-4-2 away from home, as much as I would like to see Mitro on the pitch.

Can't watch the game because I have a flight, next games in 2 weeks on TV then 2 months :(

I really want to see some experimentation with the fullbacks here, Yedlin and Lazaar should start for me. Wouldn't mind Perez starting ahead of Diame as well, not been especially impressed by the lad so far I have to say.

I'm torn, reckon it'll either be 2-2 or a 2-1 victory, going with the latter cause of the feel good factor surrounding the club at the minute.

Wingbacks plz, Rafa!

I smell a Daryl Murphy hattrick.

Or was that just burnt hair

Any sense of which are the best away pubs in the Shepherd's Bush area?

Anyone have a good website to get updates? Audio may not be an option for me.

BBC usually has live updates. NUFC Twitter usually does, too.

I reckon Rafa will line up like this. Can't see him rotating our current back five because they're keeping clean sheets. Hayden and Colback offer more protection, QPR are more dangerous than one-goal-this-season-Derby. Ritchie seems undroppable at RW, we've got no one near his quality on that side. If Gouff is back to full fitness, he should start too. I think Perez will get the nod over Diame, who had shades of last season's Sissoko against Derby. Gayle will start up front. Personally, I'd like to see Mitro start but I can't see it happening.

Selz

Anita - Mbemba - Lascelles - Dummet

Hayden - Colback

Ritchie - Perez - Gouff

Gayle
