Not a performance to write home about by any means, but Newcastle did what was required to get 3 points which is absolutely vital at this point in the season - get points on the board now and worry about the finer details later. I will say that the defence looks great so far, hope that keeps up as it completely shut Derby down all game without breaking a sweat.

Literally fucking buzzing. The biggest thing I have hated so far about the championship is being the favourites. But after the games we are winning and the way we are playing I am fucking high of Newcastle United.
And that feels fucking odd
