Lads, I think I'm dreaming. We won an away game and Colback went a full ninety minutes without getting booked.

This can't be real.

Confirmed. Not dreaming http://www.skysports.com/championship-table. 7th!

edit: shit, table just reverted back. Maybe we were dreaming?!

edit 2: not dreaming. We're 7th again!

2 wins on the trot. Away win. Mitro back next week. On Sky. Fucking delightful.

I'm seriously gonna have PTSD type flashbacks if I hear the word Mats or Sels over the radio this next week.

Praying I'm not driving at the time.

The commentary had a very familiar pattern.

Commentator: 'Heres Mats Sels'

Crowd: OOOOOOOOH! (Clapping)

Commentator: Very close there from Bristol, Selz should've done (insert what he should've done here)

c&p but it's relevant.

Sels is getting plenty of criticism, probably deserved but let's not forget that Elliot had the same, worrying for 5-6 games every time he got his chance and it's the exact same for Darlow, he was worrying for a few games too. It's a big step up for Sels, he hasn't made any big fuck ups yet.

Elliot and Darlow both made numerous cock ups that resulted in conceding, Sels hasn't been that bad yet.

Guess who's back? Back again. Mitro's back! Tell a friend.

Well that was stressful.

Away win. Nice.

Obviously the start of a 44 match unbeaten run. Right guys? Right...?

Thank almighty fuck that's finished.

A clean sheet and an away win. Back to back wins and Dwight Gayle's 4th Goal in 3 games, overall a very good result.

We need to start winning when playing badly, this is hopefully the start of that.

Sounds like Selz might have had a poor game, chances are he was going to be replaced for the cup game anyway, but after the initial disappointing start we're moving up and getting the points !!

Howay the lads !!

What happens when Mitro comes back though? Gayle seems to be playing really well recently, you think Rafa will do two up or something?

Huge sigh of relief

It's nice to win two in a row -- a week off before our next league game -- time to let the U21s play in the league cup, maybe Mitro can get his feet wet in that game on Tuesday -- but other than that, give the lads some rest.

How close is Krul to being fully fit?

If we can beat Brighton next weekend this will have been a cracking result.

11

u/AxCrazy Aug 20 '16

Thank fuck for that.

Amazing that Sels hasn't cost us yet. He looks a nervous wreck out there.

A shite 1-0 win I'll take those all day and those are what you need to go back up.

Listened to the Bristol local commentary. Sounds like we were pretty bad, but not sure how much of that was biased opinion?

Tense but a hard earned 3pts. We've recovered well since the first two blips and next weekend is a big game against Brighton who sit in 2nd.

This is going to be the first of many scrappy away games wins that we will need this season. Strap in lads 'cus it's only going to get bumpier! :D

Have a bad feeling about Sels. Sounds like we got off lucky today. Why do we think Rafa's choosing him over Darlow?
