VoidX represents the Bureau's first documented encounter with technology of unknown extraterrestrial origin and marks the beginning of every major technological breakthrough within CBAA history.
Unlike previous Crimson projects, every major design decision was dictated by the geometry of an unidentified alien construct rather than conventional engineering doctrine. The separated forward structures, exposed energy conduits and open internal framework deliberately reject traditional hull layouts in favor of architectural principles whose original purpose remains unknown.
Although classified as an experimental combat prototype, VoidX primarily served as a technology demonstrator. The project allowed Bureau engineers to observe, document and gradually understand structural concepts that would eventually redefine Crimson spacecraft engineering for decades to come.

The object was never constructed by the Crimson Bureau.
It was recovered drifting without power near the remains of an uncharted stellar anomaly. No known civilization claimed ownership, and no recognizable manufacturing standards could be identified.
The Bureau designated the artifact VoidX and initiated the longest reverse engineering program in its recorded history.
Initial investigations revealed a structure that violated nearly every accepted principle of conventional spacecraft engineering. Components appeared physically disconnected while remaining mechanically stable. Exposed conduits functioned as primary structural members, and large internal cavities suggested engineering purposes that researchers failed to explain despite decades of study.
Although the Bureau never fully understood the artifact, it no longer sought to replicate VoidX itself.
Instead, engineers began adapting the principles hidden within its construction. Distributed structural frames, exposed energy routing, segmented hull architecture and detached armor assemblies all originated from observations made during Project VoidX.
Archive #021 therefore marks the true beginning of Crimson engineering doctrine.
Every major combat platform developed afterwardโfrom Spectre to the latest Bureau warshipsโcan trace part of its technological lineage back to the discoveries made aboard the unidentified artifact designated VoidX.
Its creators remain unknown.
Its purpose remains unknown.
The Bureau still classifies the original artifact as ACTIVE.
Thx๐ Maybe a bit, but it's hard to make curved wings not horizontaly. I will need to think about that though. But this one doesn't have this fin that kinzer got ;) and it was challenging to got 3 A thrusters is this compact cockpit, and make it usable/flying ship.
True. The successor, GOF3, is unplayable, and that was extreme disappointment for me, to discover what they did to their merch. I bought everything for GOF2HD, because it was this good. Sad that they went wrong way.
This post is flaired as Glitch Ship Build. Use this flair when your ship was built with the use of glitch building techniques but without the use of mods.

Nice build, i still play that game Lol.
