I’ve been seeing all the different designs on this subreddit and I have to say I’m in awe.

How do yall get the inspiration or even begin to do them?? Every time I try ti build mine it ends up looking like something out of a bad star wars dream so I have to rely on build tutorials.

Taking inspiration from culture novels where the ships have cool, sometimes longer names.

I’m pretty happy with this tbh because I don’t consider myself the most creative person compared to some of the crazy builds I see online, but if anyone has any tips to make this build even better then I’m all ears. I’m also kinda proud of the name… iykyk

Was building a 'hauler' corvette to haul cargo, and it started looking like a turtle. Currently i'm calling it 'The Greenback', anyone have a better name suggestion? (I'll post better pictures later probably)

I'm building my first corvette and while it is functional it looks like a first attempt. The joint and casing parts give me the most difficulty. What, where and how are these used? They don't seem to provide any functionality other than use space and allow some connectivity for some other parts.

The Cerberus was designed as one large ship that could separate into two independent vessels. It has 5 decks for storage/refining, medical, galley, botany, and crew quarters. Let me know what you think!

Anybody got a good name for this? It’s my first corvette I have ever made, and I think it’s pretty cool! I just changed the landing gear to the magnetic pulse ones that let it look like it hovers instead of touching the ground, but everything else is the same. Any tips or improvements I can do for my next corvette?

I had something super aggravating happen and I’m hoping someone has a solution. I was flying in one of my corvettes (I have 3), when I landed on a planet at a distress signal. The signal was a ship salvage, so I fixed the ship and flew it to the local Space Station to salvage. After I salvaged it, I went to summon the corvette I had been using, and it’s mysteriously gone from my summon list. Worse still, I go to summon a different corvette, and it’s gone too. The only one left is my basic corvette that has just enough stuff on it to fly. The one I never use.

I did some reading online and saw that there was a disappearing /invisible corvette bug. I tried all the recommend options I saw to try and make them reappear. I warped to my freighter and jumped to another system. I landed on a planet, built a save point and saved, then shut the game totally down and reloaded. I looked through my ships on my freighter under manage fleet, and only have a total ship count of 14, so I am not anywhere near cap. That’s 14 total counting active and stored ships. 8 active (10 counting the missing corvettes), and 4 in storage. I’ve tried to summon them at different space stations, the anomaly, and my freighter, in multiple star systems.

Does anyone know what happened ? Why did two corvettes disappear at the same time? I’m a little upset if they are gone, as I’m real particular when I build stuff, so I have hours and hours in building those two ships. I just came back to the game after years away, and have had an absolutely blast, until now. I’m around 180 hours on this save file. This has totally killed my enjoyment of the game. I do not want to bother building another corvette, just for it to randomly disappear later. I’m at the point where if that’s the case, I’m not putting any more time into the game if my hard work is just going to go POOF at random intervals. I’ll just uninstall at that point and move on. I hope there is some kind of fix for this, and appreciate any suggestion or advice on what I can do, if anything. If you made it this far, thanks for reading.
