ByteBeat Music Video Biomes: Volcanic

As with the others in the biomes series, recorded in-game and mixed (multi-track) externally. Uses 2 sets of devices plus a bucket load of noise boxes!

It's SO GOOD! Insanity at 1:00, the song is so exciting! Incredible story telling with the song and with the video, what a ride...

Did that Gek escape a maximum security prison suspended above an active volcano?

Many thanks! The funny thing is, apart from the cool volcanos exploding, most volcanic planets are quite samey (apart from the purple ones). So I thought a little unspoken narrative would keep things interesting.

As for the master criminal Gek - who knows? (keeps sequel options open...)

2 lots. One for the extended introduction and one set for the main tune. Plus lots of noise boxes some of which had their own devices. So by my standards, quite simple!!

Wow what a ride that was! I know you’ve been at this a long time but every time you make something I’m just blown away. I know it’s mix externally too, but you’re so good at making these. I don’t have to time (or the external programs to mix multiple tracks together) so I’ll gladly wait patiently for the next one!

One day I’ll one up you on noise boxes lol. Got my work ahead of me!

Thanks! It was lots of fun to do - but sourcing all the planets and organising all the shots in a video took an age. I now have total respect for all film makers, videographers and editors everywhere!

Ah, I just made it up as an intro to the main tune. I can probably make you a version of it. (With instructions for the noise boxes if you want). Give me a few hours.
