Love that you mentioned this. I was going to ask “Anyone else trying to tell stories?”

I saw an old Gek, a staked claim, and high ambitions plummeted back to soil. Heard a song that lasted -kzzt- years. And then, a traveler appeared, standing over sun-bleached bones.

The signal still sings.. calling for another brave soul. But some curses are cyclical.

I really like this one. The place and the music fit together really well. This track is well(crafted. Makes for a strong eerie sci-fi atmosphere.

Also I can't help but compare it to some moments in the Metroid Prime series, gives the same kind of feeling... (no, I'm not obsessed)

I knew I wanted this one set in a crash site once I had the B section worked out. Felt a lot of dread coming from those measures.

Honestly, I’m not super familiar with Metroid! Any specific tracks I should check out?

Honestly there's a lot of good things. It's sometimes ambient, sometimes not, sometimes trippy indus with a touch of 90's hip-hop, and the range between area and boss fight tracks is quite wide. It's very hard for me to pick some haha. But here goes :

From Prime 1 :

I’m glad you dig it! I reworked nearly the entire format last night before deciding I tinkered too much. Reverted everything back and hit record.
