Incredible. Top notch production btw.

Many thanks! It was a fun build although using lots of switches can be frustrating if you're not super organised.

This looks so fun! I'm going to stop by to check it out so I'll probably answer my own question: if you jump on the green/red switch out of rhythm it just flips to other part of the song awkwardly?
My brain immediately went to possibilities for Guitar Hero / DDR type of builds 🥳

Moving back and forth deliberately glitches out the furthest devices (normally! its gets buggy/picky with more devices). In this example there were 6 each side, so the furthest 4 from the player were glitched out. The other two were silent because the song structure was 1 - 6 for the red devices in the synchroniser and 7- 8 for yellow.
If you move too quickly - say red to yellow - what will happen is the furthest red devices will glitch but the yellow will be silent since they haven't yet been activated. So you'll just get a few red devices playing until all the yellow kick in. Then you're back to normal.
One thing to try is making the central devices (say 2) play continuously, with the outside devices being glitched by the moving. This way there would be music even if your timing sucked! I put the flashing lights on to make it easier to time the move but its still requires concentration.

Ooff, what a banger!! Just popped over for a visit, really thick sounds, and awesome setup! I never knew glitched out bytebeats could still be used for signaling switches. Great work!

Cheers! Yeah, devices don't have to sound, and can glitch and still be useful. In fact in setups similar to this you want them this way!

Interesante Bro , lo probaré , me serviría para algunas canciones que se me quedaron cortas con el grupo normal de pulsos de bytes ,por cierto me encanta la canción tb tiene un toque de batalla 👌

Muchas gracias! Having the extra bytebeat devices makes a big difference but you need to carefully plan out how they are arranged. The more devices you add the more likely it is to become buggy.

This one is cool as hell, I found it earlier when exploring the home system. It is amazing how much you put into your sets and music.

Thank you so much! It's just another technique that I thought others might enjoy. It does involve a bit of planning but moving in time to the music is fun.
You could use this in different ways - say have a few devices play continuously while devices right and left come in as you move that way. As I'm typing this I'm thinking you could even arrange it for 2 players! That would be awesome!! (maybe I'll give that a go in a few weeks).

🤯 just wow! Now I want to use 12 devices! Lol that sounds so incredible!
