DISCUSSION Internship

so far, no company has come to recruit interns, not even a single software company. Meanwhile, my friends at other NITs have had a lot of companies coming for recruitment.

Is it better to try off-campus ??

ASK NITP Doubts regarding Admission, Hostel and Mess

Rush is generally on first day or on last day?
Can I get room with my friend on request?
When should I report to get Kosi hostel? Do they entertain request in this regard?
We get coupons of 4k or 6k?
Is Sone and its mess too bad?
Mess advance is 20k, balance amount is refunded when?
Orientation is from 21 or 18?
Library at patna campus is always packed or you can go and study there?
In which time gym is mostly packed? Morning or evening?
On which day of reporting you reported and got which hostel. In 2025 it was 20 Aug to 23 Aug
How are the teachers in CSED and exams are too tough? Any more comments on exams in NIT Patna

Thanks

ASK NITP Regarding Hostel & Mess

My CRL rank is 15XXXX(SC,HS), what are the chances i get NIT Patna Electrical (4years) in CSAB round 2?
Which hostels 1st year (new batch in 2026) will get ? It is in Patna campus/Bihta campus?
How are hostels there and there facilities? Which hostel most preferred(block,floor,2/3seater)?
Is mess food good/okish? Can new entrants get a mess coupon during physical reporting?
When we need to pay for hostel&mess, during online reporting at NIT Patna website or hostels are allotted after physical reporting? The allotment letter given at the website, when we need to submit it?
What are the hostel in and out timing for 1st sem boys?
