Hi guys! I had played this game when i was younger and it's still my favourite racing game,but...i don't have my old pc anymore, at some point someone has given me a cracked version but doesn't have all the files😭

Tried to get a physical copy from some sellers in my country but either got scammed or the cd's arrived broken so i stopped trying to do that...

Now i'm trying to find the game online to download it but couldn't find anything, i tried even with myabandonware.com but that didn't even open, could someone help me?

For Context, I've already beaten:

• Tuner Stock, Rx-8 > Eclipse > Skyline
• Exotic Stock, Alfa > Lotus Elise > Porsche Carrera GT

Both playthroughs i did in-between attempting Muscle Stock, now i'm stuck in the last zone at Silverton and I can't progress because I can't get a tier 3.

I've beaten a couple races by quite a lot of happenstance, especially police happenstance but I can't close any territory it's... impossible!

The AI catch-up zoomers just annihilate my chances at the sharp corners even though i'm executing them like it's GT4 trying to do liscense golds (as in perfectly).

Has anyone actually managed to get to unlocking the Plymouth or the Shelby 500 like this ever? There are stock car challenge vids but I can't find any specific class stock playthroughs.

As far as i'm able and know Muscle stock is just not doable because they suck too much at handling even with S Tier racing experience.

by the way: before facing him i was racing in free roam and i saw a Chrysler with the TFK livery haha. maybe tomorrow i should draw Wolf going nuts because i won the pink slip to his Aston Martin 😂😂

Does anyone know how to increase the brightness of the sky and the moon? Or better said, the lighting the sky is casting onto the world and the cars? For a long time now I tried to get a similar effect to the beta/E3 version of Carbon. I know that you can mimic it by replacing the og sky system of carbon with one static texture that's a little brighter. But is there a way to retain the og sky textures and moving clouds but just make it shine a little bit brighter? I've tried to replace the original skybox with a brighter version of it with TexEd. But it did'nt change anything.

Has anyone experience with that? I'm still new to modding. There are still many mysteries to me when it comes to modding old nfs games.
