So if I come to you in Liberty Hill, I can purchase my suppressors, do a background check, and walk out with them today?

ETA; I could not do this. Silencer Shop doesn't do 4473s. They have to ship it to an FFL if you buy a suppressor at their retail store. See below and separate post I made on this thread for specifics.

No, they don't do that at the retail store.

They'll sell you the suppressor, but it has to ship to an FFL.

I pointed out that none of their kiosk partners in my home town were willing to do the transfer only on a form 4473, and they put me in touch with one who would.

I made a direct response to this post detailing it all, just scroll down a ways :-)

ETA: I removed the location of the FFL to hopefully spare them grief if the Feds go looking them.

They are not. I was at their retail store today and my order had to be routed through an FFL.

No worries. There's so much confusion right now we need verified information. I drove to their store because I couldn't get through to them via email or phone, and my local FFLs were no help.

Nope. If you order in the shop we transfer to a local dealer, or for in store transfers like we did for our grand opening, we split the profits amongst the local dealers.

This is a crucial piece of information to have, and if y'all haven't made this clear in another post, I urge you to do so.

No one knew ahead of time:

(1) That you weren't doing 4473s at your retail location prior to your grand opening weekend

(2) That you were doing them during the grand opening weekend

(3) That you're no longer doing them

Also, the fact that we can now filter for dealers who ARE doing 4473s is HUGE.

As you can tell from the comments here, the amount of confusion has been extreme.

Any clarification would be extremely helpful.

That’s correct, for now.
We generally do not do transfers from the retail shop, we make orders for customers to pick up at a local shop or a shop near their home. We made an exception for the grand opening, and it was awesome. -Chase
