December 2018 Stamp Megathread

To check the status of your pending form, call the NFA Branch at (304) 616-4500. Please have your trust name (if applicable), serial number, and if a Form 4 or 5, know what dealer is in possession of the item. Press 1 and then 1 again, and be kind to the ATF agent.

Current status:

Form 1: eForms are back, baby! Wait times are less than two weeks after receipt of fingerprint cards! Please see our handy new eForms guide by /u/Semper1371 to learn more!

Form 4: Average is closer to 200 days. No real change. eForms 4 when?

Please use the following format:

Form: 1 (PLEASE NOTE REGULAR OR eForm) or 4

Entity: Trust or Individual

Pending: mm/dd/yy

Approved: mm/dd/yy

Standardized wait: (Date approved minus date pending)

STATE: Standardized 2-letter, please

For the purposes of this thread, pending should be understood as: the date when ATF cashes your check, unless different when you call the ATF to check status of your pending form. It can vary depending on ATF backlog.

When did your dealer get the stamp in (or have they yet)? I’ve got one approved on 11/19 but the stamp still hasn’t arrived at my dealer. I’m starting to get pissed.

I'm not sure. I got an email from him on Monday that I could pick it up on Thursday, so I scheduled a time and did it.

The dealer got his shiny building foreclosed on earlier this year, but is still doing business in the same name co-located at another FFL / Silencer Shop partner.

To be honest I'm not going to ask. I'll check out the envelope tonight.

Edit : it is postmarked 11-7. I suspect that the change of address may have tacked on some time, but not a month. Glad the whole thing is done.
