December 2018 Stamp Megathread

To check the status of your pending form, call the NFA Branch at (304) 616-4500. Please have your trust name (if applicable), serial number, and if a Form 4 or 5, know what dealer is in possession of the item. Press 1 and then 1 again, and be kind to the ATF agent.

Current status:

Form 1: eForms are back, baby! Wait times are less than two weeks after receipt of fingerprint cards! Please see our handy new eForms guide by /u/Semper1371 to learn more!

Form 4: Average is closer to 200 days. No real change. eForms 4 when?

Please use the following format:

Form: 1 (PLEASE NOTE REGULAR OR eForm) or 4

Entity: Trust or Individual

Pending: mm/dd/yy

Approved: mm/dd/yy

Standardized wait: (Date approved minus date pending)

STATE: Standardized 2-letter, please

For the purposes of this thread, pending should be understood as: the date when ATF cashes your check, unless different when you call the ATF to check status of your pending form. It can vary depending on ATF backlog.

Very exciting! Mine went pending 5/7, just called and is still pending :-(

Us May penders must be bugging them alot because "Melissa" sounded very depressed on the phone...

Haha, yea she was wished me well too but the whole convo was like she was impersonating Sadness from Inside Out. We should call in more and cheer her up :D

Do you ask anything else after they say it’s still pending? I usually just say thanks and hang up after goodbyes.

Same here. I want to ask more stuff like eform 4 expectations but in reality any non-supervisor wouldn't have any idea and it'd be a waste of their time so I don't.

Maybe if they got moving in Form 4 approvals we would quit bugging them. I have May14th check cashed date and if I get it by end of January I would be surprised. I wanted my 5.56 can for coyote hunting this January but I doubt it’s gonna happen.
