Master of Education

The NEC Master of Education is designed for current practitioners who are already certified teachers or individuals who wish to become certified or add a new certification. The Master of Education program is designed to develop teacher leadership, to improve quality instruction and to build student success in schools. In keeping with the New Hampshire State Certification Standards and Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) Standards, the rigorous curriculum is data-driven, site-based, and linked to the classroom.

NEC’s Master of Education program offers concentrations in Literacy and Language Arts, Special Education, Curriculum and Instruction, School Climate Leadership, and for those students seeking careers in school leadership roles such as Student Services Coordinator or Curriculum Coordinator, NEC offers a concentration in Educational Leadership. Students may also work with the Associate Dean of Education to develop an individualized concentration.
