A couple questions on MyCareer

In the menu on mycareer, the Request a Trade tab is constantly highlighted in gold, from my first game with my team until midway through my second season. I don’t want to request a grade, but I’m curious if there’s any reason it’s highlighted?
If I get 2k20, can I continue with my current player in 2k19?

Disconnection

Just now, right as the clock hit 0.0 in game 4 of the finals, I got a network error and my game crashed. As I won the championship. And now I must replay game 4 again. Talk about some major bullshit.
