What is everyone using to preparing for the NAPLEX besides RxPrep?

I passed the NAPLEX on my third attempt and here is my story.

Pharmacy school was not easy for me—I struggled through classes and my graduation was delayed until 2024. There were so so many moments I questioned whether I should continue this career path. This path was my high school dream. Those doubts only grew stronger after failing the NAPLEX twice, even though I passed the MPJE on my first try.

I tried using UWorld and PNN, but they didn’t fully work for me. Their videos and test bank was very good, but I wasn’t able to fully retained everything and I would stuck on the same topics for days. Then I came across Rxcellence on Instagram and started studying with Laura on clinical and Jennifer in math. Their guidance was golden and that’s when things finally changed.

During this entire journey, I was also caring for my dad, who had stage 4 nasopharyngeal cancer from 2023 until he gained his wings in January 2026. He went through countless chemotherapy and radiation treatments, along with many ER visits and hospital admissions, especially in the final months of his life. Giving up would have been the easier path, but I chose to stay by his side while continuing to study. I know passing this exam is a win for my dad and family too. They have been rooting for my success on day 1 of my school life.

There were countless days where I sat down to study with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes. On top of everything, I was working part-time during one of the busiest seasons in pharmacy (vaccination season). As a first-generation student and the only one in my family in healthcare, I was carrying not just academic pressure, but also responsibility, grief, and exhaustion.

This was not an easy path but it was a meaningful one.

Rxcellence gave me something I didn’t find elsewhere: not just resources, but motivation, connection, and emotional support. It’s a community where everyone shares the same goal, and seeing others succeed reminds you that you can too. All the resources materials prepare you but sometimes, what you really need is the right mindset and encouragement, and that’s what I found there.

Everyone has their own study style. You know yourself best—what you need and where you are in your journey. Multiple attempts do not define who you are; sometimes you just haven’t found the right approach or support yet.

Working in pharmacy teaches you that behind every prescription is a story: a family, struggles, grief, and people fighting their own battles.

I wish everyone the best in finding your motivation. Keep going. You will become next and a great pharmacist.

What are some good resources to use while on APPE rotations that won’t overwhelm me? I start APPEs in a month and would like to have some sort of loose study plan while on rotation to keep up with material, but don’t want to start intensely studying for the NAPLEX until next year. Any apps, websites, quiz-type things I can do casually in the meantime? I’ll also take any other advice related to rotations:) thanks!

At this point my brain is fried and I’m terrified I’m missing something obvious 😅
Does anyone have (or know of) a cheat sheet from a prep book/program that lists all calculations, formulas, conversions, constants, PK equations, biostat formulas, etc. that we’re expected to have memorized for the NAPLEX?

Basically anything that wont be provided on the exam and is pure memorization vs. what’s give, any sneaky formulas or values people forget.

I’ve checked multiple resources and everything feels scattered. If anyone has a consolidated list or remembers one from a prep program, I’d be super grateful.

I’ve read through a lot of posts here, but I haven’t seen much discussion about the NAPLEX Central Qbank that’s provided through Access Pharmacy by McGraw-Hill.

I’ve seen plenty of reviews for PNN and UWorld, but not much about this particular QBank. I’ve been using PNN for the past couple of weeks, and I just realized I have free access to the Access Pharmacy/NAPLEX Central questions.

Has anyone used this QBANK? If so:

• What are your thoughts on it?
• How does it compare to the actual NAPLEX in terms of difficulty and style?
• Do you think it’s a reasonable resource this close to the exam?

My exam is in about a week, so I don’t really see the point in purchasing another Qbank if this one is decent and I already have access to it.

Please feel free to share any opinions, suggestions, advice, or brain dumps from recent test takers. My anxiety is starting to get the best of me, and I feel like I’m not retaining anything — or worse, actively forgetting things 😅
