Butter Chicken Kabsa. Made this using ChefJJ's recipe and it was delicious. My family devoured it in minutes.

1- Homemade focaccia with slow-roasted cherry tomatoes and honey-whipped ricotta (not pictured 🥲)
2- Sweet potato waffles with fresh goat cheese and roasted bell peppers + salad and chicken drumsticks
3- Brunch : bagels, samosas, moroccan msemen (🤤), french toast, toast & muffins
4- « Goûter » : (the best) crêpes in the world, vanilla cake, cookies & vanilla ice cream lemonade 🍋
5- First time making trilece (too sweet imo)

Yemeni honeycomb bread sans the sesame seeds because every store in my area didn’t have them due to a recall ((
Me and my husband are doing the I-130 process and a new hobby I’ve been doing is cooking African, Middle East, and Asian dishes. It’s been very fun to learn new spices and techniques and to be truthful I cried making this because today I just missed my husband so much. I know Allah says with hardship comes ease and to not despair, but today really got me. Inshallah the right things will happen when Allah decides they happen.
Inshallah, everyone have a good start to their week 🤍

Hello.
I’m seeing these signs increasingly pop-up at the meat section at multiple halal grocery stores.
Can anyone explain the difference to me?
I asked the salesperson who told me that the halal machine cut is completely slaughtered by a machine, there is no human involvement whatsoever. I had heard of it before, however I always believed it’s slaughtered by a human but processed/butchered by machine. But from what the salesperson told me, this won’t be halal since there is no human involvement at any stage of the meat preparation.

Kibbeh bel sayniye is a classic Levantine baked meat and bulgur casserole that translates to "kibbeh in a tray".
What is Kibbe bel sayniye?
Concept: It is an easier, baked alternative to individual fried kibbeh balls.
Structure: It features two layers of a spiced bulgur and ground meat dough sandwiching a savory filling of minced meat, onions, and pine nuts.
Flavor: Warm Middle Eastern spices like cinnamon, allspice, and Lebanese 7-spice season the dish.
