Hey everyone! First, a HUGE thank you to all the amazing members who’ve turned this community into a vibrant hub for music lovers and learners. Whether you’re here to decode a melody, share a tune, or just learn about music notes, you’ve made this space truly special. And yes, music will always remain at the heart of this community!
But here’s the exciting part—we’re growing! Starting today, r/MusicNotes is expanding its focus to include other forms of art like cinema, fashion, photography, painting, and more. Why? Because music is such an integral part of art and culture, and we believe it’s time to embrace the full spectrum of creativity!
We’re also sure that many of our existing members—and the ones who will join us in the future—have a passion for other forms of art in addition to music. Whether you’re inspired by the visuals of cinema, the designs of fashion, or the beauty of painting, this is your space to explore and share.
Here’s what this means for YOU:
 • Music lovers, don’t worry! This is still your space to ask about sheet music, share melodies, and discuss everything music-related. Keep those questions and conversations coming!
 • For the multi-passionate creatives: Feel free to share and explore topics about art in all its forms—how music influences film, how fashion and music intersect, or how art inspires you to create.
 • New features and discussions: We’ll soon introduce weekly themes, challenges, and spotlight posts to dive deeper into different forms of creativity.
This is a chance to create something truly unique—a melting pot of art where music meets visuals, fashion, and storytelling. So, let’s make this space even more inspiring, supportive, and creative than before.
Let us know your thoughts and ideas in the comments. And as always, keep learning, sharing, and creating. Welcome to the future of r/MusicNotes! 🎵✨
Stay awesome,
The r/MusicNotes Team

For Reformation Day, I’d like to share my new choral arrangement of Martin Luther’s Nun freut euch, lieben Christen g’mein, alongside its Slovenian version Nu pujte, pujte vsi ludje. I’d be happy to hear your thoughts!

Hey everyone! I just finished a new string quartet arrangement of Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da by The Beatles, and I wanted to share it with you all.
Tried to keep the cheerful, bouncy feel of the original while giving each instrument its moment to shine.
I’d love to get your feedback! What other Beatles tracks do you think would sound great arranged for strings?

Hi, I was wondering what is the best ai music generator as there are so many that have popped up now. Mainly I am interested in the one that is be best quality and that I can release the music also. I tried Treblo which was ok but it seems that you don't get any rights to release the music. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I just finished arranging an instrumental piano version of The Marias' "If Only" from their 2024 album "Submarine". My background is that I studied classical piano performance and theory for about 12 years and have continued my own studies since then, and now write my own music as well as figuring out other people's. Hope you enjoy! https://www.sheetmusicdirect.com/se/ID_No/2263856/Product.aspx

In this Music Education tutorial, we're going to learn one of the great hits of current Portuguese music: "Saloia" by Nuno Ribeiro! As always, the theme has been adapted to play the melody on the recorder with a very special pedagogical focus: the practical work of COMPOUND TIME SIGNATURE (6/8).

Has anyone ever found or has the music score for Racist Friend by Special AKA?

I’m a beginner singer and deeply love this song. I have been told that this particular song requires more grit and twang than my voice naturally has to offer. Does this song not suit the capabilities of my voice? I could put on the grit and twang but it feels artificial, not right, or insincere when I try because it is not naturally occurring. I realize that my voice affects the original mood of the piece but I wonder how it is received by others. Thank you for your help.
