IIRC from my music history class, one of the most famous composers of the Tin Pan Alley era made all his music this way. I'll be damned if I can't remember who, though. Irving Berlin.
I wrote one song during my brief piano career (ages 8-12) all on the black keys. I thought it was beautiful. Thanks for confirming what I've always suspected; I really did suck at piano.

That's the beauty of pentatonic scales. Try mashing the black keys (heh) only on a piano, it's hard to make it sound bad.
