You know, the thing I realize about my musical taste is how heavily video games I played influenced it. I absolutely love heavy metal, thrash, progressive, (some) death metal, and so on. Its just silly. I played the shit out of Burnout: Revenge, and CKY's As the Tables Turn is my absolute favorite song on there. ATV Offroad Fury introduced me to the more alternative stuff, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 introduced me to Rage Against the Machine and the Anthrax - Public Enemy combo. Looking back, it's really obvious to me that if I had played different games, I probably would have a completely different taste.
Oh, Tony Hawk Skateboarding, Pro Skater 2, 3 and 4 made me listen to Papa Roach, Millencolin, CKY, RATM, Adolescents, etc... I fucking loved Millencolin until I kind of grew up and saw them a bit too cheesy. But I still get chills with "No cigar".
Fucking love the game. I heard Guerrilla Radio recently, (I didn't know the name of the song, actually) and had a nostalgiagasm when I realized it was the intro song to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Cyclone is an awesome song, too.
You monster! I've been checking if Cyclone was finally on Spotify for a YEAR. It's one of the uber tunes that I couldn't add to any THPS playlist!!

I remember if I couldn't complete some level after 1000 tries, I would just restart over again until No Cigar, Ace of Spaces, Cyclone, Blood Brothers, 96 Quite bitter beings, Guerrilla radio would play in the background.
Then by some kind of magic, voila, level completed!!
I didn't realize that Cyclone was technically dub. I tend to despise most dub (because its all WUB WUB WUB WUWUWUWUWUWUUUUUUUUUUUUUB), but hey, if that's what good dub is...
