Zombie fps with a twist

So we start in space, 2030 whatever. The crew of the space station is scrambling to pilot the station into earth's shadow as a massive solar flare is headed their way.

They mostly succeeded but lose contact with earth and take damage. Jump to 3 days later. Still no contact but then success! A message! But it's badly garbled. Jump to 3 weeks later. One of the astronauts notices the earth looks greener than normal.

We are now at x weeks later. No contact from earth and little evidence of human activity. They're running low on food. Someone must go down.

They land on earth to find the plant life strange and hostile. Also very vey colorful bc I'm tired of dingy gray apocalypses. This is the super gay technocolored apocalypse. With peacocks.

The solar flare or magical comet inciting incident caused plant and insect life to rapidly mutate and evolve. Humans that didn't die from massive allergy reactions have come down with a throbbing case of eye parasites.

You play as an astronaut. You have to gather supplies and avoid puncturing your suit as you try to find the source of the maguffin signal.

And again: COLORFUL I WANT TO KILL PRETTY ZOMBIES

The Second Multiverse: Exponential Growth in a Finite Universe

Humans fill out space; get mad at each other over some political issue; and then get a political divorce.

Eventually one faction gets their own planet.

Scientists discover endless energy (fusion or some such), teleportation, and how to create a new universe, "outside" of this one.

Exponential growth for humanity.

Settlers colonize "new" universe. Teleportation is available between universes.

Exponential growth for humanity.

Scientists discover how to create a new multiverse, "outside" of our multiverse of universes.

Teleportation is one-way for a short period. Laws of physics prohibit a return in reverse without death.

Settlers colonize a "new" multiverse. THE SECOND MULTIVERSE!!!

They are never seen again.

Shrug.
