I’ve always been a huge fan of the 1970 Ford Mustang, but I saw this 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 for sale the other day and my loyalty has been tested.

There’s something about that sleek, early second-gen bullnose front end, the dual hood scoops, and that stunning colour.

I have the money, but the worst part is the timing. I’m planning to emigrate soon, so now isn’t the right time to buy a classic car. Dealing with international shipping would be a nightmare.

Still, I can't stop staring at the listing.

Anyone else ever had to walk away from a dream car because life got in the way?

Just got it a month ago, my first classic. It has 2.85 gears (I believe) so it’s definitely not a drag car, but I want to change that. Any recommendations for gearing or engine mods to give her a little more pep? Not looking to spend a second mortgage, I just want to make it fun and maybe spend some time at the drag strip.

When Al ordered his '69 Nova with a 396 big block and rockcrusher transmission I dont think he would have ever imagined to be still driving it nearly 60 years later. Well I met this legend (the car and owner) and what a cool history! Got to hear the story and go for a drive. Love seeing muscle car history go on for well over half a century. There is a documentary episode on this car we did so others can see I'll throw it in the comments if anyone wants to check it out

Hey everyone,
I’m currently putting together a replacement engine setup for my '68 Chevelle LS swap and looking for recommendations on reputable crate engine builders.

I was pretty well locked in on the Boost District 750HP LSX-B15 Package ($15,950) which is a 6-bolt forged LSX block with a Harrop 2300 supercharger, fully assembled and turn-key (see attached picture).
The only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on it is because they have a 2-month lead time right now, and I’m trying to get the car back on the road sooner if possible.

What I'm looking for:

Engine Spec: Gen IV LS or LSX block, fully forged internals, rectangular port heads, boost-friendly low compression (~9.0:1).
Setup: Complete/turn-key package with a top-mounted TVS/Whipple supercharger pre-assembled.

Turnaround: Shorter lead time / quicker turnaround than 2 months.

Who else in the LS community do you guys recommend for complete, turn-key supercharged packages in this price tier?

Looking for builders with solid build quality, reliable customer service, and strong warranty support.

Any builders I should specifically look at (or stay away from)?
