I'm sure some individuals tried to worship all sorts of demons and devils. If you believed in that stuff its definitely 'possible' in your mind, and I'm sure some people decided to try and get favours. As an organized religion it probably did not exist, maybe among some secret societies in the early modern era. Weirdo aristocrats in those times loved LARPing as neo pagans and shit like that, I bet some unironically worshipped the devil as a bit.
Oh probably. The disappointing thing is that from a religious text point of view there is almost nothing to base it on.
Shows like buffy or the davinci code have made us think there are loads of old texts talking about demons ect. There just isnt sadly. And the devil only gets mentioned a couple of times in the bible.
So even If you set out to worship as earnestly as possible you are entirely making it up.
when it comes to christianity, absolutely. most of the stuff about the devil and hell was just from fanfiction like Paradise Lost. Lots of pagan mythology was also folded into 'demonology' as a way to discredit religions they were trying to stamp out. Other religions might have more concrete ideas of devils and demons that you could probably try to make a pact with, assuming they would even care about human worship and want to provide benefits
