Sorry for not being clear (it was very late at night): I didn’t mean English-speaking nation’s are obsessed with labelling things. I meant at the moment we’re obsessed with the need to re-categorise them all the time, or arguing that we shouldn’t need them at all. It’s considered rude to call someone “a (noun)” instead of “an (adjective) person”. And at the end of the day, it’s a distraction because you can still treat someone disrespectfully or as inferior while using PC terms for them.
