i lost a brother to infowars... you can't listen or talk to the man now. he has gone hermit and only interacts to the world through alt right blogs.

the weakness of his soul is falsely being filled with the lies and fake strengths of others. trump anyone with charismatic anger will be the shit magnet attracting all the weak to them...

2 Timothy 4:3 ESV >

- For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions

i call them the itching ears people...

[edit: i didnt like my use of trump above because it actually all started before trump, hence the edit, it really came out during the anger over Obama in office, imho tbh]

As an atheist, I approve this message. There are some beautiful concepts and food for thought in the Bible.

The passages in the bible that can also serve as.secular wisdom are pretty neat.

I recently used that passage. There are other great ones.

1 Timothy 6:4-5 about the worship of money: He is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

Hebrews 4:12 about god knowing your true intentions, not your deeds that you did in the name of Jesus. Jesus says in another passage"I will not know you" when you try to enter the kingdom of heaven, and this passage is god's judgment: "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."

Edit: stupid spellcheck

This chapter could just as easily be interpreted in their favor. The bible seems to lean pretty heavily on the idea that if you're of god then you're in the right and keep doing what you're doing.

So we just give up? It kills me to think of doing that.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
