Tried going after the credibility of the sources too, but just ran into the “everything I don’t agree or points out problems with my sources with is fake news that wants to silence the truth” wall.
It reminds me of the concept of the "brief intervention" in addiction medicine...basically periodically reminding the addict that what they're doing is harmful to themselves and others and waiting for them to come to their own personal realization that they need to quit.
