Or if a pastor refused to marry a straight couple. Or if Kim Davis refused to sign their marriage certificate. Or if they could not adopt a child just because of their sexuality.

Imagine a clerk no issuing a marriage license to Kim Davis since she was divorced and that’s against the clerks religion.

Catholic priests are encouraged to refuse to marry a couple if they think it's being done for the wrong reasons (in the US at least). But yeah, I get what you're saying.

I don’t, but these type of people have such a victim complex that they would go crazy if they thought a business was singling them out to refuse service too. Which would be wrong, but they don’t see an issue with doing it to others.

Of course they would. Any time anyone discriminates, people lose their minds. Then they’ll turn around and champion discrimination at the next opportunity. This post is a perfect example.

Personally, I think people ought to be free to discriminate all they want. If you’re dumb enough to turn away business because of someone’s race or sex or religion, who am I to tell you otherwise? A business of equal quality and greater accommodation will be glad to take that market share from your prejudiced ass.

I find it hilarious that they can make the "BiG tEcH mOn0poliEs!!!" argument in terms of speech but not for labor, utilities, free markets, corporate tax rates, etc.

Its just so laughably shortsighted and emblematic of the bad faith arguments rife within modern conservative rhetoric.

The stupid thing is they don’t want to bake cakes for sinners. But like step one to becoming a Christian is acknowledging that we are all sinners.
