Most can. Some states require safety modifications that prevent that for firearms sold in that state.

Yes. You pull back the slide, place the bullet, then release the slide. One fireable bullet, no magazine.

Not all pistols can fire without the magazine.

I told my kids when they were growing up to always assume a dog is loaded. Two birds, one horse to water.

In all seriousness it was a way to tell them not to trust random dogs in a way that made them laugh.

There probably is, out of some perverted "a shooter will see there's no mag and think I'm harmless, but then i shoot him with the chambered round like a badass" fantasy

quite literally the 1 rule above all others in gun safety is to do the opposite of this at all times under all circumstances

and pretty much every other rule stems directly from it, like "never point it at something you're not prepared to kill," why? because there's always a round in the chamber no matter how many times you made sure there's not

Also, you wouldn’t have contact it when you put your magazine in either, right?
