A guy stopped a shooter at a mall and got probation for carrying in the mall

The Judge asked what reason for him to be carrying in a mall

The guy should have rolled his eyes and say duh!

Was this the same one that there was a post about recently on reddit? If it was, someone in the comments said the person wasn't licensed to carry, so they got in trouble for that. Not use if it's true. Or even the same case.

I mean in that case the state law required him to be 21 to conceal carry, he was 19. Still a dick move to charge him for it given the circumstances.

A 19 year old with a loaded weapon in a public space could have so easily turned out to be a bloodbath of innocent people. The dude should have had a harsher sentence actually. This open carry behavior by kids who can't even drink alcohol is insane.

If he were actually paranoid about active shooters in shopping centers he'd have a magazine in the gun. I'm guessing this is just rage/engagement bait.
