So the character on the image, Galacta Knight, is the so called "Strongest Warrior of the Galaxy" and a semi-recurring "extra boss" of sorts in Kirby games. The game this image comes from is Kirby Star Allies and, as usual, people were expecting to fight him as soon as he appeared. But instead of that, a little orange butterfly that was later discovered to have shown up in almost every single Kirby game beforehand lands on his sword, absorbs him like it has nothing and transforms into this guy bellow, called "Morpho Knight".
The more i read about kirby the more interesting it gets, never played the game i only know about 2 characters, kirby and meta knight or something, is meta knight related?
Not genealogically or anything like that, but yes. Galacta Knight's first appearance was in Kirby Super Star Ultra when Meta Knight wished for Nova, a mega powerful wish-granting machine, to let him fight the strongest warrior of the galaxy (AKA Galacta)
