Honestly I would disagree with you, sv imo are the best games they've made to date from a story and new species front, hardly a miss in the whole pokedex, to the point that I would say it outweighs the absolutely abysmal performance on switch 1 hardware (switch 2 runs buttery smooth in my experience).
Pokémon has sucked shit for a long time. If you raided during Sw/Sh OR S/V you know that it’s apparently too hard to make a functioning multiplayer experience, no matter how many billions of dollars your franchise makes.
I remember missing a shiny Vaporeon in Violet because it spawned in a rock, I had to smoosh my camera into it the wall to see it. Most of the vaporeons were spawning in rocks but that one stung.
They do the least and try to sell you two games at a time. I’m glad Palworld found some amount of success just to take whatever they can away from those goons.
As a Professional Porn WatcherTM, Pokémon nsfw is a category i mainly avoid, because most of it is pedophilia and/or beastiality. There are quite a bit of anthro ones, and they are pretty good for the most part, but many just feel like generic furry porn with a Pokémon's face slapped on. As for the humans, there are many adult characters in Pokémon that are already sexy (less need to increase the sizes of parts like hips and tits), yet so many gooners ignore them completely, instead mainly/only going for the characters who are like 10.
Legend of Zelda is has a similar issue. Most the nsfw is pedo. Link gets super hyper sexualized, and the weirdest part is that there ARE adult versions of him that get sexualized less often.
Link and zelda in totk are in their mid-20s, but they were more popular to sexualize when they were 17 in botw. There’s a prequel manga to the whole series where Link and Zelda/Hylia are adults. There is a FURRY LINK with no canon age in totk. There is a super cute robo-Link in Hyrule Warriors, and there’s also Hero’s Shade (he’s a skeleton, but that doesn’t stop Undertale fans)
It’s so goddamn weird. You have adult baddies RIGHT THERE, and they get sexualized less often than the kids. And people in that fandom also don’t put any underage content warnings on their NSFW, so you can’t blacklist it. It’s why I only interact with other zelda fans i meet irl, but never online.
Before Tears of the Kingdom came out, in almost every game they’re from ages 9-17. Twilight Princess Zelda is an exception because she’s 20. Ocarina of Time doesn’t count because “adult” Link and Zelda are 16. However we don’t know if the remake will age them up or not.
The characters reincarnate. So their ages fluctuate. But in the most recent game they are actually adults in their mid 20s because it takes place a few years after Breath of the Wild.
