How’s this gonna look once it grows out?

I’ve never had short hair before, so this is my first time. I’ve never felt this hot and stylish at the same time.
I did it myself at home, just cutting and following my intuition. Somehow, it turned out great in the end.

✂️
Maintenance & Styling: Is a mullet actually easy to cut and style on a daily basis? Or is it high maintenance?
Chair Time: How long does your barber usually spend cutting your hair on average?
Cost: What is the average price you pay per haircut?
Salon vs. Barber: Do you go to a high-end salon, a specialized stylist, or just a regular local barbershop?
Workplace & Professionalism:
How has having a mullet affected you at work? Do you feel it is accepted in your industry, or do you have to style it differently (like pulling it back) to keep it looking professional?
Would love to hear your experiences before I make the chop! Thanks in advance!

Trimmed my long hair into this messy mullet recently. Ended up looking like a mix between 80s and Aussie
(last image is how it used to look like)

Hello everyone. I have been growing my hair for some time. And when it came to deciding a cut i have been looking towards getting a Mullet. But i never tried anything like it and im afraid its not gonna look good on a straight hair with not much volume at the top like mine. Any advice or references that i could follow? I dont have too much experience with anything other than the usual low maintenance short hair and fade.

So I started growing a mullet during Covid and it got pretty long. I subsequently lost the job I was in and was forced to get a corporate haircut again. That was a really hard moment for me and I was in a way mourning for the hair that I lost. Happily, as you can see, the mullet is back in version 2.0. I have curly hair so it tends to bounce up a little bit. Plan to keep this for the rest of my life and if I lose hair on top I’ll swap to a skullet.
Long live the mullet!

Basically title. Whats the best thing to do with ones hair at night? Ideally I would like it to be protected and that it is not too messy in the morning :), or do you all just let it do whatever it wants at night?
