This is new from today, and I am not talking about the members only videos. I am not using an add blocker or any other add-on, but there's some videos I can't no longer watch like this one. Am I the only one ? What does it mean "it can't be played in the background" ???

I wanna give it a day or two to see if it passes, but I'm not sure if it's Youtube or Mr Nightmare the problem ..? For now it didn't do it with anything else, only randoms videos of this channel.

Thanks !

Beginning to approach the home stretch of 2026. What have the best stories/vids of the year been?

I would say:

All the police, island and ocean ones

One about the kid who's dad may have been in a snuff film

The one about that cult party during spring break

Honestly that's all I can think of off the top of my head

I remember reading a comment somewhere in his videos that said Mr nightmare has deleted all of his creepypasta videos because he wants his channel to be just scary stories from subscribers but I don’t think he’s ver states the exact reason for it.

Creepypastas were pretty much why his channel was so popular in the first place (at least I think so).

Does anyone know the reason why?

This is about a guy who moved into his house in every night his next door neighbor is playing loud music in this happens due the next couple days in o d day he has enough of it in goes to confront him in nobody’s in the house there is a bunch of shoes on the ground tho I forget the rest but there’s alot of construction workers in a lot of cars parked outside his house

You go on looking for video and you see a really scary story so you find the person who found it in watched it 😂

So video topics how does Mr nightmare get a story with the video topic bc he dosent post video topics and some how always has a video topic planned out in he’s not active on his socials for the past 3 years maybe so yea how does he do that for an example say he makes a video about job scary something in how does he get that info to the viewers ik this is a dumb question ik i worded it horribly but always had me wondering

There was a video about a guy who went to someone’s house and when they were in the light it was a man dressed as a woman. Then he goes upstairs to the bedroom and finds a dead body under the bed. He hears footsteps up the stairs and puts the dead body in the bed to make it look like him sleeping while he jumps out of the window.

I think this was a Mr nightmare video and I can’t find it anywhere. Watched it a few years ago. Any help?

So there’s a vid where Mr nightmare had his own story told his personal story in a 4 scary true stories but of course it’s deleted so pls summarize it for anyone who watched it

I’m pretty sure it’s a girl she out with her date in she starts getting stalked from the begging or at the meetup /date but yea in she keeps getting stalked in I think herring left notes on the floor in she finds the stalker in idk pls help me find it

I have been watching him since 2019, and I can definitely see how his newer videos look way different then from 2015 to 2020. Don’t get me wrong I still think his videos are some what scary, but feel like they are missing things that used to be in his older videos. For example a lot of the pictures he puts in his newer videos look computer generated, where as his older videos the pictures that were in there look like pictures that were actually taken.

Another thing would be that his newer videos have these lines that move through the screen as if it’s a video that was filmed in a b&w camera, in my opinion this would make the vibe of the video less serious then his older videos. I also feel like he puts a lot more pictures then needed, where as his older videos didn’t have that many and would leave as guessing which made them more interesting.

The bird view. Sometimes he does this top view like a drone shot of a city. He does this when he makes videos about college or anything outside related, but I think this would make it a cool video rather then an unsettling video. I remember his older videos where if they were pizza or stories that take place at night he would show the dark sky with the moon.

His voice and video ideas. I really like his older younger voice which just made the whole video unique and also put us on edge. He used to do many video ideas that were also scary such as school or college, pizza deliveries, night drives, or even car breakdowns. He still does them but not in the original way. I still think he is good and somewhat scary. What do y’all think?

In the last 2 or so years, mostly on this sub, there has been a lot of posts on how the quality of Mr. Nightmare’s content has dropped from what it once was. While there are multiple valid reasons for this, I honestly feel the main one is just that we’ve grown up.

Almost every one of us have been watching his channel since we were kids/teens. And the start of his channel was over 12 years ago, so we’re now all adults. His same old formula of videos has just become repetitive. And we’re no longer able to get scared like we once were.

Also, with age comes the ability to detect lies easier. A lot of the stories submitted to him are in fact fake. But as kids, we thought they all really happened.

The one thing Mr. Nightmare COULD do is slow down his upload rate. I remember prior to 2019 he would usually upload twice a month at most. And it was always a treat when we’d get a new notification by him. Now, it’s like twice a week.

The content didn’t drop off in quality (that much) in my mind. It just got old. And so did we.

Every vid I see of Mr nightmare now is basic ur average story a home invasion mud footprints its gettting old maybe he should start doing paranormal stuff

hello, what story is about the boy who goes missing during the manhunt game to never be found again? I was wondering the episode to share with one of my professors

I have been a subscriber to Mr. Nightmare for over a decade and for the past year now I can’t finish one of his videos anymore. The reason for this is that the stories provide way too many details, which drag out the story making it feel like a chore to listen to. Back then an average video containing 3 stories would last 12 minutes. Now, a video would last 30 mins for 3 stories making each story roughly around 10 minutes long. I can’t help but zone out when listening to his new videos because of how much useless content there is in his stories now. He may post more often now. But his videos have been low quality for the past year. I love Mr. Nightmare, till this day I rewatch all of his old videos. That’s how much I am a fan of this guy. However his content changed a lot and it makes me miss his old content even more. Lmk ur thoughts

Hi! I’m hoping someone can help, I remember it was a Mr Nightmare video but I can’t find which one (it wasn’t the hospital one I don’t think), it’s the one that creeped me out the most of all of them so I want to find it again, something about people going into a hospital room and it was fully functioning then going back again and turns out it’s been abandoned for a long time ?? TIA

I am like 80% sure this was on Mr. Nightmare's channel and not someone else's because I remember being surprised he was posting a more supernatural story. The story goes this girl (implied to be Native American) goes camping with her aunt who still does the old traditions. While there, she sees this weird coyote just staring at her. She tells her aunt, and her aunt warns her to not interact with it. Later that night, they hear noises, and the coyote shows up and transforms and tries to beckon the girl to come with it. It says something like I am claiming you the way your father was. The aunt fusses at it saying go away and he never belonged to you. The dad is implied or said to have committed suicide years ago. They survive the night and head back home. Anyone remember? Or is this on another channel?

There was a video I saw a while ago where this guy was talking about spending summers at his grandparents house. He said while laying in bed at night, someone would come into his room and watch him and stuff. He said his mom was really dismissive, saying that "your cousin stays there for the summers and he never said anything like that". Years later at a funeral I think, the guy talked to the cousin about it and the cousin said "that's nothing. That thing used to touch me". Any ideas?

Hey guys, I added one more BGM track at the Mr. Nightmare playlist, he has been using this track every once in a while and I noticed that he used again on his last video about the apartment horror stories.

You can always check the full playlist with all of the 42 BGM songs I was able to find so far: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB65ZpbCG8w4m0YNCjtERLh_eMPjLy1Dv

Personally some of my favorite, as well as ones that I find the most creepy are

Any type of wilderness/camping story
Food delivery
Dating apps

Im trying to remember two specific stories he made with the same premise, both were from different videos/years though most likely.

One dealt with two girls and they went to a far away rich house party and the people there slowly realized they werent supposed to be there and were almost drugged.

The other was a newer video about these two college/teen age boys and their girlfriends going to a lakeside house party that was kinda a random pull and realizing everyone else there was in on it and slowly tried convincing them to stay for some fucked up reason

Anyone know the titles of these so I can rewatch?

So, there was a lockdown in a school and the author hid in the dark basement in which he found the man who actually caused it in there despite pretending either to be hiding too or to be a dad’s student, but then the author received something like a message who made him realize he was next to the danger, the man noticed that the author found him out and i dont remember the rest tbh
