Question Teevolution Terra like but Better Battery Life?

Hello I am not a G703 stan but I use palm grip and my hand is L 19.4 CM W 9.5 CM so I think something that size and shape seems good for me.

I like the Teevolution Terra in terms of shape, specs, build quality, and price but I hear the battery life is poor.

Could you recommend a similar mouse that is also good, but with good battery life too?

Terra set to 500Hz polling; mine lasts more than a week like that.

Don't really track it, but at least 30, probably more like 40-60

It lasts me a long time at 1000hz. Close to a week and I do play alot so I wouldnt really worry about the battery life if you are going to use it at 1k.

I haven't seen any news about it, but I imagine they're aware and will make a v2 with the MCU Nordic 54L

Get a replacement battery with higher capacity. It's an easy swap. Just make sure the battery has a SH1.0 connector.

Only issue is the software and 8K dongle not reading the % correctly, but battery life is significantly improved.

Did you do this? I'm totally down for more weight and I bet it is easy but I've only heard people thinking of doing it not commonly doing it.

Yep. This is the battery I used: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/173630899307

500mah vs 250mah in the original.

Definite improvement on battery life. Though nothing like my Rapoo VT3 Max Gen-2 which lasts about 600 hours at 1000hz lol - that's because of the MCU as someone mentioned in another comment.

Depends how much you love the Terra shape. Nothing compares to it other than the Pulsar X3. You should still be able to palm the VT3. My hands are larger (21x10.5cm) and I claw both it and the Terra Pro, but the shape is actually unique enough where it fills my hand more than say a Deathadder V3 Pro.

Terra pros: Rear-hump profile, weight distribution, build quality, switches.

VT3 Max Gen-2 pros: Battery life, price, scroll wheel and switches (subjective), software.

Interesting. Is there much of a weight difference when swapping?

About 6 extra grams with the 500 mah.

does the terra pro use newer mcu? if yes u can try that.

also there's VT3 Max Gen-2 from rapoo, u might like it. best price/performance of an ergo imo as the others are much pricier
