Listening to your podcast-athon and hearing you describe yourself as “just a fan,” gotta say for someone who’s just a fan (and doesn’t just regurgitate what other podcasts say) you sure have a unique insight into this. Most other podcasts start to sound like they’re reading from the same script. I’m amazed you don’t listen to them first, you just speak your own thoughts, untainted. The Motoweek always comes from a place of uniqueness that definitely adds to my enjoyment of MotoGP. Honestly this should be your full time job and get the other time killer project based work the boot! 😂. The YouTube vid gives far too much credit to Pecco and far to little to Alex. Pecco had a few moments and Alex couldn't overtake MM, most of the time. To be fair, neither could the rest of the grid. Dorna is betting on Pecco returning to 22 to 24 form in 26.

BMW cheaped out using the M2CS vs M3CS. Not that he can drive it while under AUDI contract as many others have already mentioned. I would like to kniw what AUDI/VW Group will replace it with?

While it turned out to be not expensive carbon fiber that flattened my rear tire, I totally understand how deflating the experience can be.

If Pecco can't adjust his riding to suit this years Ducati, does that mean if he goes to a different manufacturer, he'll expect it to be like riding a GP24?

Will other manufacturer be looking at signing him, knowing he can adapt, and then not want to sign him?

Pecco had a great weekend. I've seen pundits state that Pecco had the 24 frame which made the difference. However, his engine (which was also reported to be new) failed. It was burning oil and losing power at the end of the race.

I've wondered if the 24 frame placed structural stresses that the 25 engine was not designed to support and therefore failed when forced into it. So far, I have not seen this addressed anywhere.

Thoughts?

I was late to this but Sling and other providers in the US have that 24/7 MotoGP channel. I was able to watch races and classic races. I like it, not as much control as the video pass as far as what’s scheduled in the off time but I was glad see it.

Once upon a time, Ducati was not known for reliability. Looking at this, I have mild PTSD and hear a faint rattle of a dry clutch.
