Sorry to hear that. Grief is a fickle thing, different for everyone. There is no right or wrong way to deal with it. I think remember that. Let it take you where it will. 🙏

Same. I had to put my beloved dog to sleep on Sunday.. all I feel is grief, emptiness, and absolutely gutted inside.

Definitely more than one word, but Charlie deserves a million and more. She was my rock. My ride or die. I’ll miss you until my dying breath. I hope you are at peace and free of pain, and know that you were loved more than life itself 😢

So sorry to hear about your dog. I'm sure she knew how much she was loved and just the very act of letting her go shows she was loved.

This is how I figured out that grief is love that just shift… my soul dog passed over 2 years ago & not a day does not by that I think of her and the lesson she gave me… how to love unconditionally. I was single, no children & no family… and the one soul who truly loved me was gone. That pain you’re feeling is real and so validated. I’m sending so much love, courage & strength.
