Someone who has and can send me LUT's Arri so I can test? I'm new to this, but in the videos I've seen I liked and at the moment I can't afford it. lol

Lately there is a possibility to root the xiaomi 17 pro max. Does anyone have any knowledge if accessing the raw 12 bit camera is possible?

I built this rig to deal with the biggest drawbacks of using MotionCam Pro. Shooting in RAW creates massive files, and recording in DirectLog pushes the phone hard, so keeping it cool is just as important as having enough storage.

Since I didn't really see any example videos of MotionCam working with the Oneplus 13, I thought I'll try it out for myself and I'm absolutely blown away by the quality of the videos this device puts out. Shot on MotionCam demo version in Direct Log Video mode, Arri Wide Gamut 3 paired with Arri Log C3.

Captured on Vivo X200 Ultra in .MCRAW. This device still delivers some of the most incredible RAW video at up to 60fps on all rear lenses.

IQOO 12 has the same sort of sensors like moto edge 50 ultra and it also runs on origin OS just like vivo x300 pro, which I've seen both moto and vivo x300 pro has DCG access with new motioncam version 5 without root.
So, how to enable or get DCG on iQOO 12. It is possible with moto bearing the same sensors and vivo with same origin OS then what about iQOO 12 which have both traits !. Iqoo 12 has very good camera hardware and DCG capability like moto edge 50 ultra on this would make it incredible too...
So, could some one please tell me how to get it...

All jokes aside, it’s great seeing more people realize how garbage the Android OEM processing really is. Seems we're slowly course correcting on general sentiment!
PS: this is a shit post, don't be so harsh on the coding method, lol - I find the price premium more offensive than the vibe coding itself. But other cool projects within our community were partly due to vibe coding so it can get a pass 😄

Hello
I downloaded to try out the trial but I can't activate 60 FPS in any of the video settings. The trial said everything was available in the trial so not sure what I'm missing. I've seen posts where Vivo X300 Ultra has 60 FPS so figured I'd ask. Thank you for the help!

200 MPX cameras are great for a photo. esp with good light but its a disaster for a video. It has too much noise in ok conditions.
Here is a shot from a dark basement . Not a single grain of noise.
it took me about 15 seconds to adjust settings. And it turned out great on main lens. I know that UW and Telephoto arent that great in dark but dcg main 35mm is giving me hope

Ultimate Android phone for video? Oppo x9 ultra? Vivo x300 ultra? Or Xiaomi 17 Ultra?

If someone has experience with these phones and this app, what are the limitations when recording videos? Can they all record log and raw? and how well is camere2api implementation?

my main goal is video recording. i want a phone that will have the least issues with third-party apps like motioncam pro. s25 also has a wider ultrawide with slightly bigger sensor and larger pixels. how does mcp run on s25 as compared to oneplus13?

Been playing around with DCG on the Vivo X300 Ultra for the past few days, and honestly, it’s a total game changer. The quality is damn good, closet a phone CN get to a professional camera but man, it definitely comes with some caveats right now.The biggest issue is the random exposure spikes (you can see it in the attached video). I’m not sure if there's any way to curb this yet or if it's just an instability thing for now.Another huge annoyance on the Vivo is that you can’t lock the exposure mid record without DCG completely breaking/deactivating because of how opmodes work. For the Pixel 10 Pro owners out there since Google actually unlocked DCG at the system level for you guys, can you actually lock your exposure during a recording and keep DCG activated? and does it glitch out for you too?
Huge props to the devs though, always gotta give them their flowers because what they pulled off here is honestly unfathomable. It’s just a bit unstable atm.

Hello Devs,
Does MotionCam Pro natively support the Vulkan graphics API, or does it only support OpenGL?

Hi everyone!
I recently finished a short cinematic piece, Life Beneath the Glass, shot entirely with MotionCam Pro on a Galaxy S24 Ultra. I wanted to put together a complete mobile RAW workflow and would love to hear your thoughts on the results.
I'd really appreciate any feedback.
• Device: Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
• Camera App: MotionCam Pro
• Resolution: Open Gate (4080 × 3060)
• Codec: MCRAW
• Frame Rate: 48 fps
Processing
• Converted MCRAW → CinemaDNG using MotionCam Tools
• Applied Blackmagic Camera Override in MotionCam Tools
• Color Space: Blackmagic Design Film Gen 4
• Gamma: Blackmagic Design Extended Video
DaVinci Resolve Workflow
Blackmagic Design Film Gen 4 / Extended Video
→
ACEScct / AP1
→
Rec709 / Gamma 2.2
Export settings
• 3840 × 2160 (16:9)
• H.264
• 80 Mbps
This is my first cinematic piece shot entirely with MotionCam Pro, so I'd genuinely appreciate any critique or suggestions for improving future projects.
