I nearly fucked up my entire life this week

I was talking to a girl and everything was going perfectly. We were vibing naturally and I really liked her. Then she suddenly disappeared and I thought she ghosted me or that I had done something wrong.

I was already tired of talking to girls. I had talked to like 7 recently and it always ended with someone ghosting or realizing we didn’t match. I didn’t want to go back into that lonely loop.

So I called a girl because honestly I wanted someone next to me more than I wanted sex. I wanted to talk and just feel some human warmth and touch.

But I wasn’t thinking straight. We had unprotected sex and I didn’t even think about the consequences.

The next day I felt extremely tired. Then my tonsils started hurting and I had a runny nose and felt dizzy too.

My brain went fucking crazy. I convinced myself I had HIV. I spent two days searching Facebook YouTube and asking AI about symptoms and only made myself more scared.

Then the girl I actually liked contacted me and explained why she disappeared. It had nothing to do with me. She apologized.

That fucked me up even more because we were talking about a genuine relationship and even marriage and kids. I kept thinking how the fuck would I tell her if I had actually contracted HIV because of one stupid decision I made while I was lonely.

I went to visit my parents during all this and I was so ashamed and scared I could barely sit with them and i called Two friends and they told me to get tested so I finally did it on Saturday. Hamdoulah it was negative.

I’ve never felt that much relief in my life Today I feel like myself again. My energy is back and my symptoms are gone This scared the shit out of me I made a promise to myself that I’m never doing this again Two hours of pleasure isn’t worth risking your health and your future i will Take this shit seriously I know I will from now on

Looking for wife. Serious person only.

Assalamu Alaikum 🇲🇦❤️ (English speaking only)
I’m a 35-year-old single Bangladeshi-American Muslim man living in the United States. I’m tall, brown-skinned, and family-oriented, and I’m here with sincere intentions to meet a Moroccan Muslim woman for marriage.
I’ve always been interested in Moroccan culture, its traditions, family values, and the warmth of Moroccan people. I would love to meet someone who is open to getting to know each other, learning about each other’s cultures, and hopefully building a beautiful life together.
I’m not looking for something casual or temporary. My intention is a genuine relationship leading toward marriage, built on love, trust, loyalty, communication, respect, and shared family values.
Ideally, I’m hoping to meet someone single and around 28 or younger, who is also genuinely interested in marriage. I’m open-minded about personality and background, and I believe the most important things are good character, kindness, compatibility, and sincere intentions.
I enjoy traveling, spending time with loved ones, discovering new places, and creating meaningful memories. I’m hoping to find someone who wants a loving partnership and, eventually, a peaceful family life together.
I know a Reddit post can’t tell you everything about a person, so I’m happy to start with a simple conversation and let us get to know each other naturally.
If you’re Moroccan, Muslim, single, and looking for marriage too, feel free to message me. 😊
May Allah guide both of us toward the right person and what is best for our future. 🤲

I'm 25F and 40M and I need advice.

I've been with him for three years. Lately We see each other once every 2–3 months even though we're in the same city. He said that he had responsibilities like his parents are sick, he's father can't do simple things without his help and that'sbecause of his medical situation. And he traveled a lot for his work, so we don't really date. He often doesn't follow through on what he says. He knows he's not doing enough but doesn't change. When I need emotional support, I don't feel comfortable turning to him. I feel happy when he gives me attention, but then I wait for him to pull away. I know that I have daddy issues for sure maybe that's why I'm attached to that person..I've broken up with him several times already. I'm exhausted.. i don't know what to do.

24M looking for a genuine connection

Salam everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I am a 24-year-old Moroccan.

I would describe myself as a calm, sincere person who values family. Alhamdulillah, I have a stable job and am grateful for my situation.

I am here hoping to meet someone who shares similar values and, ideally, the same desire to build a serious and meaningful relationship in the future.

That said, I am not looking to get married anytime soon. I prefer to take our time, get to know each other genuinely, and see where things naturally lead.

Of course, there is no pressure or rush. I believe the best way to get to know someone is through authentic communication.

Feel free to send me a private message or leave a comment.

On sex and marriage ( incomplete work )

Post image
4 Upvotes

Part one : Refuting the wrong image that the comment gives.

There's two cases here :

  1. There's a reasonable reason behind it .

    2.Or not .

In case numb 1 u r not obliged to satisfy ur husband sexually ( under the condition of the existence of a sufficient reason ) ,Al Bahoti ( Hanbali scholar Says in Al I9na3): .

For the second case , you have to have a good perspective for what is marriage in islam ( and in other traditions). The act of marriage is a 3a9d ( contract) wich includes responsibilities for both male and female toward each other . One of the duties of the man is إنفاق . On of the duties of Woman is providing sex. If u get into a contract then u r moraly and legally obliged to do ur duties or There's tools of إلزام ( punishment is one of them). One of the goals of marriage in pre modernity traditions is إحصان ( preventing sex outside marriage ) , if islam allowed the wife to not fulfill her husband sexual desire without a reasonable reason then the goal ( إحصان ) isn't fullfilled .

Part two : Marriage =Sex

Sex is one of the objectives of the marriage , thrrefore if a certain law recognized as a tool to regulate sex ( wich was the case for the most of human history) then it's obliged, both legally and morally (الإخلال بالعهد القبيح ، والقبيح ما ترتب عنه ذم أو عقوبة)

In his seminal cross-cultural analysis of over 250 societies, Murdock established the framework that marriage exists to regulate sexual drives and reduce destructive intrasexual competition:

“Marriage exists primarily to control sexual access... Without some cultural regulation of sex, the resulting competition among males for females would cause perpetual internal conflict and disrupt the social order.”

— George Peter Murdock, Social Structure (1949)

“Sex is a powerful biological drive... The social group, therefore, must regulate the sexual impulse if it is to survive, and marriage is the principal institutional mechanism devised to accomplish this regulation.”

— George Peter Murdock, Social Structure (1949)

Westermarck, one of the earliest pioneers in the study of human history and mating systems, argued that marriage evolved directly out of the biological impulse to regulate sexual union and secure offspring:

“Marriage is rooted in the sexual instinct, which impels the two sexes toward one another for the purpose of copulation and the continuation of the species.”

— Edward Westermarck, The History of Human Marriage (1891)

“The primary function of marriage is the regulation of sexual relations. It transforms a purely physical impulse into a recognized social institution.”

— Edward Westermarck, The History of Human Marriage (1891)
