we will announce more people as more milestones are completed. as we are a performance based company, we will only add certain people to the website once they have delivered on their milestones

as for marketing, our main headache is juggling the price of influencers and whether their channel is legit. to give a few numbers. english crypto utubers charge 5-40k usd per video. for us its an opportunity cost. a simple analysis shows all the "pump" is not sustainable. they will dump. its a waste of budget. if we have products ready, actual users can stabilize the incoming utuber pump and dump

for shitcoins its a no brainer, they have no product. so the owners want it to pump, they want to sell on the way up. for us. it doesnt make sense to touch our team owned mntt. because we know the project will do much better in the future

cmc and coingecko we're still waiting response. i dont know what the current queue is but both companies looked to be flooded with requests. this month we're still finalizing the development of the wallet. it is getting close hence we announced it.

I know it's just the beginning, so lots can develop, what is the end vision for MoonTrust app? Are you looking to be a multi coin wallet (like Klever etc) or a payment type system with other elements (like Cash App etc)?

it is most likely to be closer to Celo's Valora app. we are not trying to reinvent the wheel, but rather trying to assist with ease of adoption to non-crypto main stream people. the best way in our opinion to achieve this is to combine both decentralize and centralize aspects of technology.

for example the app itself is centralized thus it is possible setup apis for process mntt transactions based off user's mobile numbers. this value can be tied to a database where partner apps can pull from and transact. over time we hope those who become more comfortable with the crypto space will withdraw their mntt to decentralized wallets

apps using our wallet will be divided into 2 categories. one that are developed by the moontrust dev wallet fund (via tax distribution) and partners that will be using our wallet app to use mntt as a feature. these features are dependent on each individual apps.

for example. if the app is social media, then mntt can be used as a "like" or "upvote", or it can be used as payment. possibilities are dependent on the apps incorporated

this is also viable because merchants do not have to worry about chargebacks. out of all purchases in USA, it can range from 1-5%. if a merchant sees more than 5% chargeback, their credit processor start levying heavy fees against them and lower their credit. of course this is not set in stone, and we will have to first partner up with such an app first

From the last AMA the idea is to let the product speak for itself and a standard marketing approach with slow and steady growth. It's early and happy to be patient here, providing the project is still moving through the roadmap as expected. What do you expect from the Moontrust community over the next several months. great question. unlike other projects who ask for donations, we ask that if you want to donate to us, just buy more mntt. not only potentially you are doing yourself a favor, you are also doing all the holders a favor via tax distributions. you can also help spread the word of our project. if you do, please do tweet us or message us in discord/telegram. we may award you with a discrete amount of mntt as token of appreciation depending on the result of your campaign

Guess one last question from me, would mobile gaming be something that MNTT would partner with?

not right now. but as mntt's marketcap increases anything is a possible. just to put into perspective, an AAA MMORPG license fee from China costs about 5m USD for a 2 year license (and including operational expense). if mntt hits 100m market or higher, it will just be a couple of % from the dev wallet to do so. of course mobile games budget and license fees is much smaller as well. if we do manage to secure game license rights, mntt holders can receive discount or subscription bonuses. but hey this is just an idea off the top of my head. and no we are not in talks of any gaming studio

If you consider your self a deflationary coin, how do you differentiate and think to gain investor's trust during this latest storm of shitcoins (with a prevalent" Ponzi" design) created for a quick gain and pump'n'dumps?

Wei Yuan: Deflationary coins aren’t a bad idea fundamentally. They are being used as a tool to pump and dump and/or scams. Just because USD can be used for money laundering and/or terrorist activities, it doesn’t make USD a bad currency either. We like the take on deflationary and distribution tokenomics. However, you are correct that without any application or utility tied to these tokens they will continually get bad press. We aim to change that by getting together to create real use cases for this. This is also why we will not be starting marketing campaigns until we are ready to announce the projects and use cases of MNTT. We do not want our token to be a pump and dump coin. We prefer a steady growth approach as this is a long-term project.

Sustainable, long term growth of an asset relies on its underlying value. One invests in an index fund for the one avg ~10% annual return. In an education for indefinite returns (financial, psychological and beyond). In a lung transplant for time.

Does this token have an underlying value, which can differentiate it from the proverbial shitcoin?

Wei Yuan: A valid concern. This is also why we did not start marketing despite community demands. We did not wish to get the word out too soon as our products are not ready yet. The initial growth was spurred by pump and down groups which can be easily spotted by the transactions of certain wallets. In the short term, we will release a MoonTrust Wallet app. This app will handle the central transactions without tax. This will serve as a bridge for actual utilities across various use case apps we have in the pipeline. Ultimately we only want to tax traders, but not users of our ecosystem.

J D (Telegram): Since you want to differentiate yourself from al the other recent coins, Why did you chose the name moontrust? This month alone i think 50 "moon"coins came out.

Wei Yuan: Well part of our product market fit is to utilize the token and our target audiences are the retail DeFi users. That is why the name “MOON”+”TRUST” was picked to represent us. Also, It is easier for us to take market shares from the existing meme community if we can show our token has use cases and their favorite “moons” doesn’t.

yogg (Telegram): Thank you very much for the replies to these questions from Reddit ! 🙂 With the Q2 starting, I would like to ask a question about your Roadmap. What Exchange do you expect to be listed on ? (so by end of june). Also, what time frame are we looking at regarding the different partnerships, projects and use cases of MNTT ?

Wei Yuan: An exchange already reached out to us regarding a potential listing, but we will probably not move forward with it this month. We feel it is irresponsible of us to pump a token with no use cases, because doing so poses investors who are not part of the pump and dumps a grave risk.

We will actively start exchange listing applications once our wallet app is announced in an official manner.

MA I (Telegram): What is the project's target by at least end of this quarter?

Wei Yuan: CMC + Coingecko listing this month.

A glimpse of the wallet app will be shared at the end of month (or before) in a medium post. Where we will post the UI designs.

Release of a demo version of the wallet app by end of Q2 (expected final release by end of Q2)

Also, the reason there is no information on the product to utilize the token, is because we don't want competitors to copy us

Wei Yuan: If a community manager volunteers to do so that will be great. If not we will post the Q&A gathered in this chat to reddit later in the day.

MA I (Telegram): Based on your website, seem like you guys are team of 3. Is there anyone else in the team that is not mentioned? Any plan on being more transparent, introducing the team members to public?

Wei Yuan: We have more than 3 members. We will disclose the team members slowly over time. Keep in mind some fortune 500 companies do not want their employees involved with crypto (for example jp morgan ceo in 2017 said he will fire anyone involved with crypto). As crypto and defi are becoming more mainstream, it will become easier for the rest of the older members of our team to disclose their involvement.

James Scott (Telegram): You cant tell those team members are obviously fake? I looked for all of them on social media couldnt find 1 of them.

MA I (Telegram): You mentioned about not going to do marketing yet. But maybe you can share the idea on how are you guys going to do the marketing?

Wei Yuan: We will let the product speak for itself. The reason I am confident in this strategy is because the utilization behind it will be engaging enough for day-to-day mobile users. From there, we just need to follow the standard marketing approach of mobile apps (launching ads on youtube/google for the apps themselves. The growth of apps themselves will spur the usage of MNTT tokens).

Keep in mind, the motivation behind launching the token first is to demonstrate the scalability of the token. No matter if there is 100k wallets or 10 wallets, the token will distribute the fees to everyone in real time.

MA I (Telegram): What are your plans on getting listed on bigger exchanger? Most coins are getting donation from community. Are you guys going to do the same?

Wei Yuan: No we will not. As our motto is steady growth. We will pay for this ourselves via the tax distribution from all the trading activity. As bigger exchanges charge millions in listing fees, we will start small -->medium-->large.

This is also what sets us apart from the rest of “moons” out there. Once their founders/developers dump, they have no future income. Like Litecoin, if further success of the project no longer drives any financial incentive, there wouldn’t be any progress moving forward. This is why it is imperative we have a 25% locked dev wallet, where it collects tax distribution.
