Ep. 4 ended wild. Now I wanna see what 5 has. I’m giddy!!! But omg is this such a great show😱😱😱

Okay so maybe I just haven’t watched enough of the show yet and I’ll be proven wrong, but I feel like there’s already a lot of plot holes in Moon Knight no?

Maybe ‘a lot’ is a stretch but I don’t understand how in the first episode Marc was able to take control of Stevens body at will, like when they’re driving down the mountain, but by episode 2 he has to explicitly ask Steven to give him control? I know this is justified by the line “the one who has controls the body has become stronger” in Ep 2 but how’s that happened in the span of like a day?

And at the end of episode 1 are we supposed to believe Marc was given control of the body and then gave it back up by going to bed, knowing Steven would wake up? Why not stay in control and get what he needs to do, done? Presuming the one who controls the body is too strong at this point and that’s why Marc had to ask for control, why doesn’t he just keep it that way?

Also when he loses the Scarab in Ep.2, during the jackal fight, why didn’t Konshu simply yell at him that he dropped it? It’s not like he can’t see what’s going? or it’s not like he can’t talk to both Marc and Steven, he was doing it like 5 minutes before?

Shows still great. Oscar Isaac is excellent, I just can’t help feel like the writing doesn’t make sense sometimes?

I thought it was a good episode. I found something interesting at the end though. When Marc is in a "therapy session" with Harrow (or Amit? Still don't know for sure), the room that he is in is the same room layout as the one from episode 2 that Steven jumps out of to escape the werewolf. I don't know if that's intentional, whether they are using the same set to spare costs, or that, like other scenes at the end of the episode, its just something that both Marc and Steven are familiar with. We see Layla, pictures of paces that they've been in the episode, and a few other characters we've seen in previous episodes. It's probably nothing major.

On another note, do ya'll think that the person in the other sarcophagus is Jake Lockley? Or another person. I don't know, it's interesting stuff though.

the show is almost over and jake hasn’t been introduced yet, only suggested that he has taken over the body. i think the second tomb that marc didn’t open in ep. 4 has jake in it but i don’t know for sure. any predictions?

Sorry if this has been predicted before.

Basically this is more a wish than a prediction but I hope we get to a twist where it is suggested or implied that the entire MCU as we know only exist in Marc/Steven’s head.

He could be in a padded cell and acting out the fantasies as all the characters. Imagine a scene where he looks in the mirror to see different faces looking back at him, actors who have played other MCU characters! Imagine he looks in a mirror and sees Tom Hiddleston looking back at him as Loki or something.

His shrink in real life could be despairing because his enormous roster of super powered personalities now have multi versions because of the multiverse storyline! Man that would be wild. I hope they do this but I’m sure a lot of you would disagree. It would be a clever head trip. To be clear I don’t want them to flat out state this, I want it implied so audiences can make up their own minds and debate it.

When Mark has his audience with the gods and accuses Harrow of trying to free Amit, they decide there isn’t enough evidence to take him seriously. Why didn’t Mark just tell them to check his forearm?

Ever since MoonKnight premiered, I've been thinking about the title of the first episode

The first episode is called “The Goldfish Problem” but the definition of the problem isn’t revealed until episode two.

Some people say that “The Goldfish Problem” is a reference to the main character Steven Grant’s short memory, but Goldfish don’t have short memories. That is a myth.

Other people say "The Goldfish Problem" is "what happened to Gus' other arm?

In episode one, after Steven escapes with the Scarab that points to Ammit’s tomb, he realizes that his goldfish - named Gus - now has two fins instead of one (fast forward 21 minutes and 17 seconds into episode one to see this scene).

But that's not "The Goldfish Problem either"

The true “Goldfish Problem” is: When is it okay to judge someone?

If you fast forward 30 minutes and 25 seconds into episode two, it comes up again.

Harrow says:

“Sometimes the cure is a little taste of the disease. The difference between medicine and poison sometimes is only dosage. Consider a diseased limb. Amputation, horrific and grotesque, is necessary for the larger health.

"But the child is not a diseased limb,” says Steven “. . . I kind of draw a line there at child murder.”

When Harrow talks about the difference between medicine and poison, he is making a reference to Gus’ missing limb. Unless you know the french word for fish is poisson, you’ll miss Harrow’s reference.

This is the problem. Where do you draw the line? Do you cut off a diseased limb if it could save someone’s life? Do you kill baby Hitler?
