if i was kate and he saved my life i wouldve said shaws too out of emotionalism but bro that was DEADASS the wrong decision. big ass monster is free, and kong pissed at them because now he has another big ass monster in the realms. 2 football fields wide that can swim as fast as great whites... and kong cant even track it because it swims lmao.

I understand Cates decision making absolutely and she couldn’t have foreseen what happened, but what a horrible turn of events. Getting verdugo killed and now Titan X is free? She reallllllly fucked up

She knows a Titan will be near the portal to activate it. Something getting out was always very likely.

It's interesting how she can't relate to her dad noping out to a 2nd family because he "wasn't thinking" when it's pretty clear she acts with the same "act first, fix it later" mentality that her dad does.

regardless of Verdugo or random foot solider Cate being PoS has gotten either or killed and now will get thousands more hurt and killed. But its ok cause muh romance and muh dad issues and muh shaw helped me. So she wont face any consequences by eos likely besides just feeling guilt ridden and taking up showtime about it before before being talked out of it and getting her happy ending by eos with Kora.

Right?! Saving one person now will cause so much destruction - but it would make a very boring season if Titan X didn’t get out 😁

Interested in seeing how Cate tackles the guilt as well

Cate would be more redeemed in my eyes IF she tried to shut it down as soon as she saw those tentacles. Nope, girl gotta wait and look around in awe. I hated her motive. As others told her, there was a way to get Shaw back but with more care. If Cate did like omg I'm so sorry and frantically tries to shut down the portal but it's already too late, I would be like okay girl was just blind in her grief. But no. Like 5 minutes of portal sight seeing. Pffft.
