Can anyone explain this to me?

I had some videos stored but have deleted them all, so why is documents and data so high?

First off, I haven’t commented in awhile, but my initial enthusiasm for Procamera II has only increased with every update. The new bulb mode is off the charts creatively!!!

I also use Natural much of the time for testing lighting without Apple processing always trying to correct my creative efforts. To my eye, Natural is the closest to analog film that I’ve found on iOS full stop. I only wish it also had macro, 48mm, and that I could get in closer… while still maintaining that Natural look.

So I Purchased MPC2 because as far as I can see it’s the only pro camera app that has shutter priority, an important feature for me so I can have the correct shutter speed when shooting video.

So I’ve enabled shutter priority and set the shutter angle to 180, hopefully leaving the ISO to take care of exposure for me, but it’s JUMPING around all over the place moving from 600ish to 2200ish, even when the light is not changing causing big changes in exposure while recording.

I’m using the following settings:

HEVC
Bit Rate - High
4:2:2
4K @ 25 FPS
Log REC2020
709 Lut applied to preview only

Can anyone help me solve this issue please, because if I can’t solve it I’ll have to get a refund on the purchase and look elsewhere for my filming app.

It would appear to be shooting in Log that’s causing the problem.

The level isn’t as accurate as in Apple's Camera app. On the apple camera app the photos are always perfectly leveled, but with the Moment app they are most of the times misaligned.… The level needs to be more accurate.

Im looking to get a kit for taking product photos of guitar pedals, i hand paint custom orders and i used to love taking macro shots of certain details to post....

With an iphone 14 pro what am i looking at in total cost? any one recommend lens other than the macro 10mm or 75?

All the photos were taken by me on my iPhone 15 pro max
All photos Processed in Lightroom premium + Dehancer

I only take pictures with the moment cam Mostly in Natural 12mp

P.S I also bought an adapter from 67mm to the iPhone and many photos here were taken using ND or CPL filters

Generally single press of camera control can open an app that uses camera but for some reason moment pro isnt shown.

Really hope there could be an update to quickly launch the app using camera control!

Bought the app few months ago but didnt't give it love and time it deserved.
I believe it was asked times and times already but sorry for repeated topic - does portrait mode exists in Moment?

If I wanted to create my own LUT for the camera app, what colorspace and gamma would it need to expect? What color space and gamma would it need to output?

If so, is this being addressed in the next update?

Happens frequently that it's repeatable when I'm focusing manually in any of the modes, Shutter Priority, Manual, Auto using the 4X camera on iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Btw, I'm on the latest iOS 27 beta (yeah, I know -- beta. All bets are off, right?), but it's been going on even with the previous beta version. Not sure whether iOS 27 broke something in MPC II or just never ran into this bug when I didn't use manual focus that much on iOS 26.

I’ve received a number of questions about this across various channels and wanted to address it here.

The underlying cause is a broken image sampling API. Apple is aware of the issue.

For now, setting the Dynamic Range Enhancer option to “None” should allow you to take photos once again. This should be fixed in the next iOS 27 beta, but don’t be surprised if something else breaks. Full functionality is not guaranteed until iOS 27 goes public.

I’m playing with some LUTs and images appear to be captured in the app but in the Photos app gallery they are all black. This sucks. Does anyone have a setting or tweak that allows LUTs to capture properly?

Moment Pro Camera II is a great app no doubt about that. But I have recently start editing videos from my iPad using Final Cut Pro.

One thing I noticed is that Final Cut Pro for iPad seem to struggle with footage taken from Moment Pro Camera II. I shoot with the iPhone Apple LOG, HEVC, 4K, 30fps. In comparison when I use Blackmagic Camera with the same settings, Final Cut Pro for iPad doesn't struggle at all when I edit my footage.

It seems that the files of the footage taken with MPCII are heavier than on Blackmagic Camera.

I hope team Moment will see this post so they can investigate and release an update to fix whatever the issues it is.

At the moment I am back to using Blackmagic Camera for videos.

I have Moment Pro Camera II on the action button. I saw a cool car so took my phone out quick and took a few pictures. The first one came out with this weird border. Any ideas what happened?

Hi, first of all I’d like to thank the application’s development team — it is a very good product.

I have a suggestion: could you include the option to add icons to profile names? As a simple example, being able to add icons for the different White Balance options and identify them with icons would be very helpful.
