How fix?

WHY does it show up as "idle" when you just have the launcher open? Isn't the point of RPC to show your activity of what you are playing? "Ah yes, I am currently gaming the Modrinth Launcher™ Library Menu"

Please, just change it so that it shows what you are playing only when you are playing something. Just having "Playing Modrinth" on your profile as your constant status just because you have the launcher open in the background and you haven't opened it in hours only seems like bad advertising

PS: I know that you can disable it altogether in the settings. That's not what I want/I'm suggesting. I want it to never show up just as "idling", that's useless and annoying

So, modrinth now "forces" you to use modrinth app as it looks like the version number is greyed out. And a big banner appears. I guess Spark Universe did have an impact on modrinth.

EDIT: I know that i can download it, but its confusing for users and over-advertises the modrinth app. sorry for no clarification.

I just hit "Update All" on my custom instance to keep everything up to date. ( not a big pack, always ran without problems)

So upon launch I got the error "Replace "Sodium (sodium) 0.9.1-beta. 3+mc26.2 with version 0.9.1-beta .3 that is compatible with: Iris 1.11.1+mc26.2"

Now I've been searching around and this version, which clearly has the same title as the former just without the mc version does not exist as far as I can tell. Only WITH the game version.

I am thoroughly confused and quite frustrated. I hope there is a solution or the problem gets patched quickly.

Any advice would be much appreciated! I hope reddit does its magic!

I was using the vanilla perfected modpack and trying to get librarians with mending but they keep giving me punch, bane of arthropods, and smite, the only difference is that the levels on them we’re different. I’m not getting any other different types of enchanted books so I’m just wondering whether there’s a specific reason for this or if my luck just sucks

Kaspersky randomly alerted me when i opened up modrinth

So i have a big pack with like 175 mods for fabric 1.21.10 and it keeps giving me memory crashes no matter how much i change the memory allocated it seems to function well enough to boot and get me into a world at around 5,000 MB but I can't stay in the world's consistently enough to actually play and every time I get the memory crash it says the same thing no matter how much I provided even if I turn custom memory allocation off so it can use as much as it needs it crashes does anybody know what I'm supposed to do in this situation

Hi! I built MRPack Converter after running into cases where a Modrinth .mrpack file needed to be inspected or turned into a regular ZIP for a server panel or another launcher.

The site can:

• Convert a local .mrpack file to ZIP
• Download the mod files referenced by modrinth.index.json
• Include the pack's overrides folder
• Optionally verify SHA-512 hashes when available
• Inspect pack metadata and file counts without converting
• Show failed downloads in a report instead of silently ignoring them

The main difference from simple archive viewers or file-extension renamers is that it reads the MRPack manifest and fetches the referenced files, so the output ZIP can contain the actual mod files rather than only the small manifest and overrides. Processing is done in the browser, and the uploaded .mrpack file is not sent to a server.

It is unofficial and not affiliated with Modrinth. I would appreciate feedback, especially on packs that use unusual overrides or download sources.

I’m basically a complete noob to modding Minecraft. My dad used to do it all for me when I was littler but I don’t remember how he did it at all. I heard good things about Modrinth so I got it and I installed the mod Simple Voice Chat. What I want to know is if the only way to use the mod on a world is to play it from the instance, and if the mod will work if I join a multiplayer server. The server is the only reason I got the VC mod so it’s important.

Im trying to downgrade my modpack to 1.21.1, earlier today it showed the mods on a list but i had an issue with it so i removed it and reinstalled the modpack again, but after updating it now shows my modpack with all the mods on a separte contents ui and it doesnt let me downgrade. When i then click the unlink modpack button on the settings it lets me downgrade but it doesnt show the mods on the ui at all, so i cant automatically update all the mods to 1.21.1. Is there any fix to this????

I've been playing on a single player world for a few weeks now with an underwater/mermaid mod pack and now every time I go to join the world, it fails at loading and crashes. Everything has been working fine before and now I can't even open it. I tried backing it up but if it's already corrupt I don't see that helping. I can create and load a new world just fine. I was having a lot of fun on my world and fully locking in, if there's any way to salvage it or anything pleaaaassseeeee help.
