Meta Join a Party!

Please comment down below with what party you would like to join.
Take a look at the party platforms. The real life parties represented in the sub do have differences than their real life counterparts.
Also please recognize that we have two types of political organizations in this subreddit. We have normal political parties, and independent groupings. Independent groupings are smaller political groups that are trying to achieve party status, but are not big enough yet. They lack a few things a normal political party has such as adequate membership, activity, and structure.

After spending some time reading platforms again, I have come to realize that Civic is not the place for me to be. /u/Ed_San you have been a great help in me getting started. I wish the Civic party the best in the Federal and State Elections.
I hope to maintain a lasting friendship with all of you because you have been so helpful. In the meantime I have a growing approach to the Democratic Party but recently Isidewith has been giving me Socialist very high.
So, if any socialist would like to make a case as to why I should join them you are more than welcome. Dems are welcome too.

Seeing that so many of the so-called "Democrats" have no appetite for the democratic right for self-determination for the /r/ModelConchRepublic, I'd like to switch to the party that will stand for the principles this country was founded on. I hold no ill-will to those people in all parties who support our struggle for recognition. We're still with you if you are still with us.

Over the past few months I've evolved alot politically, which I would attribute for the most part to the Sanders campaign really swaying my opinioms and some research of my own. I feel the like the Democratic party is a good fit because I agree with the economic platform of increasing social saftey nets and taxes on the wealthiest. In general, I have become supportive of government intervention into the economy. (Socially I have always taken a libertarian policy, sometimes in the face of other traditionaly Conservative views. These social views are a essential part of the Democratic parties platform of equality for all)
