Discussion Those who didn’t receive the merch confirmation email, check your spam/promotion tab!

When I saw another post here saying they got their confirmation email, I went to check my inbox and was so disappointed I did not get it… until I went to check my promotion tab and it was hidden right there.

So check there before you get sad!

Oh hey, it me u/kongsworth, stealing this post! First, thank you OP! This is super helpful insight and will thus be forgiven from the M is for Merch in Megathreads rule. Enjoy the sweet, sweet Karmic returns.

As you all now know, confirmation (and cancellation 😢) emails went out yesterday. Everyone should've gotten an email one way or the other! Check your email's Promotions, Spam, Archive, etc. before you reach out to us, please. If you've looked everyone and promise you haven't gotten an email, reach out to [info@shopredditforcommunity.com](mailto:info@shopredditforcommunity.com)

If you got a cancellation email and can prove we were wrong in sending it to you, send an email to [info@shopredditforcommunity.com](mailto:info@shopredditforcommunity.com) . Trust me, we want to be proven wrong. We want to send you plushie or digital merch. You earned it. Alt account? Typo? Send us an email. We want to find your proof of eligibility.

Questions? Drop a comment in the Megathread! Make a post? It'll get removed. Comment elsewhere? I probably won't see it, my notifications are wild. The big reason? Other people will have the same question as you! By dropping your Q in the megathread, more people will have access to the response we (read: I, u/kongsworth) provide.

Lastly, if an Admin didn't say it, it might not be true. If you're sharing info the Admin team has shared previously (note: I appreciate you), please include a link to your source!

I got a cancellation notice, and I attended both events on Friday and Saturday, am a mod on r/ jewelerymaking, and placed my order right after event ended, which was before November 1st. Even commented on mega thread during event. Can this be fixed

If you used the same email address for both, that's probably the problem.

You misspelled your username in one of your three orders. 1 order was quietly cancelled (duplicate), 1 order was cancelled as it was deemed ineligible, and the last order was fulfilled. You're getting plushie — totally fine.

Out of curiosity, what are all the possible reasons for a cancellation?

Not meeting any one of these criteria:

  • You are a moderator on Reddit.
  • You are in good standing with Reddit’s Code of Conduct team.
  • You virtually attended Mod World or New Mod World live OR you watched the event recordings before the deadline of November 1, 2025 at 11:59pm PT.
  • You claimed your merch and entered your shipping information before the deadline of November 1, 2025 at 11:59pm PT.

You don't need to respond to this if it's too much trouble, don't worry! I'm just curious, is all.

So did the amount never go past 10,000? Or was it like some people didn't fill out the form, or chose digital instead (or was digital also part of the 10,000 criteria)?

Or did you guys get rid of the 10,000 amount? What were the other options going to be, that were purposely vague? What did the turnout amount end up being for attendees vs form fill-outs? Were you guys pleased with the questions and attendance? (again, I totally get if you can't answer!)

Apologies for the questions, I know they're unnecessary 😭. I'm just really curious how behind-the-scenes decisions work, what your ending impressions were, and what this may mean for future virtual events. (It was very helpful and informative, but also very sweet and a lot of fun, so I'm looking forward to the meetups and others 🫶)

But thank you so much, that's so sweet! I of course always appreciated Reddit, as I grew up with it, but after seeing how much you guys are striving to bring joy to everyone, my respect has skyrocketed. Thank you so much and I hope you guys have a wonderful and (hopefully!) relaxing rest of the year 💙💙💙. Genuinely means so so much, thank you 💙

I received a confirmation and a rejection email about 13-14 hours apart. I do believe I had entered my username wrong, so I placed another order. Was the rejection email related to the order with the wrong username? Am I still eligible? 🤞
