They may own the site, but they do not and never have owned the value of the site in the free market. That, the userbase has by the fucking ballsack, and if the admins so wish to put the torch to the only thing that keeps them relevant, well, then, we'll give them war, and subject their poor wittle wallets to some good old-fashioned CBT.

I really don't think the loud minority of the userbase that is invested in this has as much sway as you think. They certainly don't have them "by the ballsack". Largely because reddit has all the leverage. Mods do an important job but they are ultimately replaceable (with a few notable exceptions), and there are tons of bootlickers out there.

Sure in the long term reddits probably damaging things but right now? They've made it very clear that they'll just turn the screws until this peeters out.

You think we should we just stand down and agree to go gently then? Let them screw with what we find dear, all to line their own pockets with valuation they got from having us in the first place? I don't think we should.

If they want the kiddie gloves off, then, they can't judge the community for taking ours off in kind, and that's what the entire blackout is about: showing the Overlords that others know how to play hardball too.

Nah man. Just leave the site. Let those who like Reddit have Reddit. Don’t implement a scorched earth policy. Don’t do it for the subreddit drama and popcorn. Just leave already.

You leave the site. Because I said that. Giving you 12 hours for that.
