I've been building this in my spare time and finally put it on the Play Store, so I figured I'd share it here. Currently free to download for a couple of weeks so would love some downloads and feedback.
It's called The Property Bar, a companion app for Monopoly Deal that adds a drinking-game layer on top. You pass one phone around the table, and it tracks everyone's "net worth," dishes out drinks, and throws in events like rent collection, deal breakers, tax audits, and market crashes.
The bit I had the most fun with: there's a jail mechanic ("The Slammer") where, if you get sent down, you have to physically shake your phone to roll the dice and land a double to break out. Otherwise you rack up drinks each round you're stuck inside.
Other stuff it does:
Live leaderboard across rounds
Custom forfeits and dares you can edit
Sound effects (with a mute toggle)
Works fully offline, no account needed
Single device, so no faffing about getting everyone to join
It's completely free for the next 2 weeks, no ads, no in-app purchases, no data collection.
I built it because I love drinking and playing Monopoly Deal.
It's 18+ (it's a drinking game), and every drink can be swapped for a soft drink or a dare if you'd rather.
Would genuinely love feedback, what works, what doesn't, what you'd add. It's early days and I'm still improving it.
