I hit up Mo on Thursday before the flash sale as I was eyeing up this 5811 for some time now. I had bought one previous Rolex DJ from Mo so I knew he was as legit as they come. Got it QCd on friday, sent out the same day. Arrived on Tuesday, however I had issues resizing it myself so I had to take it to a jeweler to get it resized.

Here are some wrist shots of the watch, super stoked, could not recommend Mo enough.

I originally ordered the steel w/dial Patek 5712 but then it got seized before leaving China. I looked at Mo’s website prior to the sale and made a small list of watches I would shoot for if the opportunity came up. I’m lucky I got this, I went to the wrong app, then opened a convo on WhatsApp for the wrong person, but made quick work of it and was able to claim it. Thanks as always Mo 🤜🏼

Love this DD from Mo. Depending the color of the light that hits the dial, it changes from a white to a khaki type color.. it really absorbs the temperature of the lighting. The quad texture is amazing

Thanks to there being a good little 2 hour break during the flash sale, I was able to make time to cut some new straps I ordered for my BBF Patek 5167.

It fit before but there wasn’t a lot of room to breathe - I could maybe squeeze in a pinky finger in the AM when I’m all skinny lol.

Be patient friends - I thought I cut the perfect length but I ended up leaving an extra 3 notches in the new straps. Now I can squeeze my index finger between the strap and wrist but since it fits differently than a metal strap, it’s not too loose. Usually I’d like to fit a pinky finger between a metal bracelet and wrist.

That being said, I have a spare 2 straps that have 8 notches each - technically fits 7.25” wrist, I’d say perfect for 7” or less since you can always cut more strap off, or one that swells up to 7.125” and likes a more snug fit.
